I don't get how someone is being a tough guy by saying they don't approve of OnlyFans sponsoring a rider.
Personally, I see both sides of it. It's good to have a sponsor willing to put up money and invest in our sport. I can also understand how someone wouldn't want to explain what OF is to their kids. Sometimes things can be right for someone and wrong for another person. Crazy how that works.

The way I read the rule, Is that they can not actively promote adult content as a part of the sponsorship. So no URL's linking to adult content, no videos of adult content playing in pits etc. That is how I interpreted the contradicting sounding way they wrote the rule.
Onlyfans does a good job of making sure that only PAYING adult's get to see any content on their site. And there is other stuff on the site. So I hear. And they have said that advertising in SX/MX is a part of them trying to get a wider variety of content on the site.Porn is everywhere if You look for it.
I would bet that most kids that are not old enough to be filled with hormones would not even want to see " Adult content" after they knew what it was. And they would reply with something like " Who would want to watch that". And any kid who would want to see nudes , that has access to the internet can just run a google search.
I'm with you on seeing both sides. OnlyFans in and of itself is not an issue and I think that's getting missed with all of this. It's what OnlyFans is known for that becomes the issue with a lot of people. Honestly in my opinion, I don't think most people would know about or care about OF if it wasn't for the adult content side of it, which is not what the site was originally intended for.
OnlyFans itself being a sponsor I really have no issue with. Now, I appreciate Hannah Ray and the other girls that put money in for Logan to get to the races and all of that, but them sponsoring as adult content creators I do have an issue with because there are a lot of young eyes on SX and MX. Whether some like to admit it or not, we are a family sport and we can't expect outsiders to accept us or give the sport a chance if they see adult content creators blasted on the side of bikes. Cigs and energy drinks are totally different so stop trying to use those as examples, especially when most of the energy drinks being consumed by children were bought by their parents.
Personally I think we could spin this in a positive direction by touting the health benefits to older males prostates that Onlyfans has provided.

With the information era as it is now, it seems impossible to shelter our children from most. My personal opinion is as long as nude images are not represented on the advertising or graphics, it is no different than promoting energy drinks with the attire of the Monster girls. The MG attire is equally offensive yet accepted as part of the sport because of the sponsorship it supplies to the series and many individual riders..

This is a sport for the young to come up in, and for families to come together in. Lots of youngsters looking & appreciating their favorite riders. I'm not super religious, but I'm a pretty moral guy and whether or not "OnlyFans" shows other things besides nudes, porn and sexually explicit activity...those things are what people pay for, and that's what people associate OnlyFans with. They are not famous for wholesome media...or they wouldn't charge for membership.
I'm glad when any rider can bring an outside sponsor to the sport. Pretty much all is fair game...but I feel like Roland Hinz did when he was alive, and running Hi Torque Publications (Dirt Bike/Motocross Action). He wouldn't let any moto-product advertise in his publications that used scantily-clad women or those that used suggestive language to promote their products. He knew lots of kids read their magazines, and wanted to keep them family-friendly, not something their parents would object to.
Bottom line, for me at least...is that our sport needs outside sponsorship, but there are better choices than can be made. Do I support the ban...yes. I think the rider sponsored by OnlyFan did so to stoke the fires of publicity...and he can do better.
