That was the smallest gayest track I think I’ve ever seen. And how… My God HOW has Vince not changed at all, especially after being blasted in the skull several times by Weston. Boggles my mind he just continues to be dirty, but once the helmet comes off he acts all innocent. He’s like Alessi out there riding around in front trying to keep everyone behind him at all costs, which makes nothing more perfect than him actually being on the Alessi team Moto concepts.

Vince Friese is a literal sociopath. I've heard and seen enough over the last 15 years that I'll never be convinced otherwise.

I dont understand why other riders dont punt him into the 5th row. He never has any consequences so he keeps doing it. If other riders would give it back to him and knock his ass down over and over maybe he would learn his shitty actions have consequences, instead hes just out there doing whatever he wants and nobody ever does anything about it.

Yup…it doesn’t matter what level of race Friese is in…he makes the race worse.  He is such an asshole rider that even some of the nicest people in the sport thinks he’s an asshole.  Problem is he gets good starts …so he is in the battle.  Then holds up riders that are faster than him and has enough burst speed to take people out in the corner.  Guys that like him probably watch all star wrestling because any true fan of racing can’t like him.  I don’t see why more riders don’t punt that fucker to next Tuesday.

I agree. Someone that is offering another rider money before the race to take out his teammate can't be all clear in his head. Doesn't matter how much of a nice guy he is off the track or how "exciting" he makes the racing.

I do agree he needs to be taught a lesson but if they t-boned Vince, they would get DQ’d or potentially injure themselves in the process. Vince does just enough to be a nuisance but not enough to be penalized. Can you imagine how praised that rider would be though? Would be amazing if someone just said f@$k it and sent him over a berm.

Maybe the fans should start throwing trash at him while he is riding so he stops showing up 😂

Let us not forget that if the WSX is over at some point so will highly probably be the SMX bonuses too within 3 years.

It is sad that while the WSX series struggles mightily for legitimacy that at the end of the night…with the way the penalty was debated…it seemed to make WSX seem even less legitimate.  That was the most anticlimactic podium I have ever seen.  They should consider shit like that before they let Friese race.  They should have Bogle run a 450 in Australia.  One of my all time favorite moves was when Bambam totally and unnecessarily took out Bogle.  Then he waited a lap to get going and, totally by accident, popped his clutch right in to bambam.  Then ripped off a tear off and rode on.  It was awesome.

The biggest problem with Americans, is that they can’t see past our borders.

I would've loved a fall series with elite riders from all over the world.

The problem was that Adam Bailey tried to poach the best riders from the AMA outdoor nationals and persuade them to choose his series over the outdoors. Now, that's fucking with the tradition of our sport and I'm not down with that, So fuck him.

Zero chance I would.   It's a ridiculous circus show....glorified arenacross.

As for the timing....sorry folks,  the riders need some down time.   I can't imagine running 17 SX, 11 MX and 3 SMX races and what that does to these guys.

Thats the thing though its not great for AMA riders who do the full outdoors and supercross season, but for riders like Kenny and Webb who want to do sx only it works out for them and for the Euros who only race MXGP they dont have as harsh of a schedule. Plus youve had riders doing up to 4 off season races maybe even more with Monster cup already, a 6 round wsx basically takes all those extra races and just puts it under one series.

In my opinion the long term strategy for WSX should be trying to get MXGP riders to race the series. It makes much more sense for them who only race 1 series to race WSX vs US riders who race two.. now 3 series with smx.

and thus, it's not a world championship.  not even close.

The biggest problem with Americans, is that they can’t see past our borders.

it has nothing to do with borders.  it has to do with wsx being revenge for the fim being fired from the real SX World Championship, and then proclaiming their new "series" the world championship of SX.   that's it.

If people are comparing WSX to AMA SX, then of course you’re going to be disappointed all day long. WSX is not AMA SX and is not even pretending to be, so I don’t get why people are so offended by it?
However WSX is a long long way from living up to its potential. Let’s just hope they dump the track builder, like they did the previous commentary team. Malin and Langston were an improvement.

Would suggesting to tear this whole masquerade down to the ground and rebuilding it all from the start with another promoter be constructive enough or I am being a floppa?

Says who? Is that facts or just some Floppa’s opinion sitting on his couch hating on anything he doesn’t understand? A lot of people are invested in WSX both financially and emotionally so your throw away comment is crap 💩 same goes for everyone else crapping on the series. Miserable comments say more about the person making them than the series itself. I hope WSX is here to stay!!!!

Let's see if I can explain it so that you might understand. I refuse to watch minor league sports with a touch of wwf thrown in. Calling this shit show the wsx is a joke. Racing in a stadium big enough for 30 seconds a lap and 2 row starts does not entertain me. I would watch arenacross over this most likely. Good for the guys getting paid for this including KR94 who is a world class rider in a clown show. Maybe if they would have planned this in the off season or maybe included a round in the states it would have drawn more interest. Hope you enjoy it maybe in 2024 they can regroup and come up with a better plan

There is already people bringing SX to the world without trying to step on the toes of the 50+ year strong SX/MX schedule. I have no doubt that if WSX got their way, the best teams, and therefore the best riders would be racing SX all year round, and I have a big issue with that. So I am quite happy to see it not go to plan.

UpTiTe wrote:

Who is trying to bring sx to the world again?

There’s a race in Paris in a couple of weeks that will have many ‘24 SX title contenders racing on a proper SX track and it is a sell out both nights. They didn’t need to step on any toes to make that happen, in fact, quite the opposite

So I guess I'm not the only one who watched WSX on Twitch or YT and thought "Man, I'm sure not gonna pay to go and see this"...

Just my two cents.

Paris is a great show, not sure why France can only do one successful SX race a year, I thought the French were fans. Blush No wonder why so many of the best French riders come to the US to make their money.

France has a successful SX series, but on a smaller scale. The problem WSX has it that they have partnered themselves with teams that normally will not be able to sign the kind of riders that will sell tickets on the scale that they want to. Roczen of course is one of the biggest and most popular names in the sport, if it wasn’t for him though, there is no one else on the gate that would make me desperate to go and buy a ticket. If you’re French, you’ve had the MXoN this year, and Paris SX is coming up with the Lawrence bros, Webb, Roczen, Barcia, Vialle, Shimoda, plus 90% of guys who race WSX anyway, so why would you bother spending probably what is the same money, for less of a show?

I think Aussies are used to all kind of racing over the years we don’t have the consistent SX series you guys have had since the 80’s and we will attend and watch pretty much anything.
I am not blind to the problems WSX has I would just like to hear constructive criticism about what can be improved rather than the constant insults people are throwing at them it gets tired after awhile.

Pretty sure it was Adam Bailey and his team that compared it to SX in fact I’m pretty sure they made the claim to be the best SX series in the world…what’s disappointing is that they have gotten worse at every round and not better…if you haven’t listened to Lewis’s post race interview with the riders you should…they are the ones that are truly disappointed…

They made heaps of bad decisions with their approach early on, even Bailey’s admitted that. But that was what, two years ago? Move on man.
And the track was absolutely terrible! However that’s not what I was talking about……

So you didnt even watch it? I had the same opinion that it was gonna be a complete joke after I first saw the track too, but then youtube recommended me a free stream and I said wtf and started watching and it was actually pretty good. It seems like most ppl that only saw clips or the helmet cam lap are dunking on it but ppl that actually watched the races ended up thinking it was pretty good.

It wasn’t two years ago, it was very much this year. It was fine last year, they had two rounds in the off season and they were both successful. This season they came in trying to take on the Nationals with their schedule and half their rounds go cancelled. Riders signed up planning their summer on getting paid for 6 races and instead they’ve lost half their money for their year. If they’d known in advance they could’ve put a plan together to race some nationals and SMX to earn some decent money. They have let the riders down
