I live 30 mins from Greenville, but i dont race these days. However, Travelers Rest MX is in Travelers Rest SC. They have a SX track. Also, NXT Level is in Easley SC. Both are close to Greenville. The Cut is newer track in Easley SC too. Masters Motoplex is in Gaston SC and it is the bomb. But thats couple hour drive .
Hannah Creek MX is just off I-26 near Woodruff SC as well. Almost forgot about that one. Revolution MX park is in Union SC, one of the best. I have ridden there a couple times this year. SX and MX tracks both.
Awesome man, thanks for the help! Hoping the weather is decent and it's worth the drive there.
In addition to the tracks already mentioned, Nxt LVL 101 is another good option in Gray Court, SC if they are open. One of the best tracks around and about 30 minutes south of Greenville. Strawberry Hill in Fountain Inn is another option if you like a more old school natural track.
Stew Baylor's place, The Shoals is in Donaldson, SC, about an hour south.

The Shoals if they are having an open practice.
Somewhat unrelated, but is there any good single track in the area?
I know the Mid-East races are popular in the area but with Quads riding the tracks on Saturday, it kind of makes them a freeway.
Call and make sure any track is open for practice. We lucked out and one track (221mx in nc) was open for a private rental and my kid was able to ride, but out of the many tracks in the area, none were open unless it was a race or private rental. I was told strawberry hill was the only one open for regular practice, but they were closed in July when we were up there.
Not much in terms of public single track trails. There are some double track OHV trails called Enoree near Clinton that are nice in terms of OHV trails, but nothing I'd consider real single track.
North Carolina Hare Scramble series doesn't allow quads and most races aren't too far from the area. Brushy Mountain Motorsports Park has a good bit of nice single track but its a couple hours away.
Chauga Valley near Anderson, not far from Greenville. It has 2 tracks, one clay and another sand:

Hit up Chad at the CGI facility on Instagram and thank me later
Thanks for all the recommendations, guys! Seems like as long as the weather cooperates there's plenty good tracks to chose from.
Travelers Rest MX as someone mentioned is great, but normally only open summer months for a night series. the day track isnt open very often now that they have nxt lvl 101. jessica pattersons tracks are the best in the area.
strawberry hill is a fun 80's style mostly natural terrain track.
the cut mx (easly, sc) is 15mins from downwown, is small but good fun.
Hey a sort of a shortcut here but if you are on social look for the South Carolina Motocross group on FB. Most tracks post in there weekly on their opening schedule, makes it easier to plan. And shameless plug here, look up my name on YouTube and I have footage and even reviews of many of the tracks in SC!!
Appreciate the info! I'll definitely look for the group on FB and check out your YouTube to see what the tracks are like.
I have a track at my house at the SC/NC state line. But, I will be in Wyoming the weekend you are coming. But by next spring I will have a skid steer out and will be making some huge improvements to my 1/2 mile track. My buddy owns 221 MX, Catheys Creek MX and one other track in Blacksburg SC. We used to all race together, but he doesnt ride any more. Just runs the tracks. 221 MX in Rutherfordton NC is very nice, even though i have yet to ride it.
Complete sh_t show track when i went back in May. Just after a ton of rain. Wasted a 3 hour drive to get there just to ride in a swamp. I admit though, I was stoked leading up to it. But with their attitude about it after arriving , I probably will never go back. Master Motoplex beats it in my opinion. And its a shorter drive for me.
Just after a ton of rain is probably the reason for that but if you look up the images on Instagram and on an event weekend that track with prep is the cats meow
Oh yeah, thats what got me wanting to go down to begin with.
Pit Row
Iron City is the track in Blacksburg SC I just wish they posted better about when there was going to have a ride day. I always see posts after they have them and Moto Hose home base is 20 minutes from there.
You mean their 3-4 time a year events? I don’t understand that place’s business model beyond building crazy huge hits for Josh Hill’s insta. And it seems like every event they have also overlaps with some other big event in state. It’s a cool track if you can manage to catch it open.
And Lumpy - Iron City is a greatly abbreviated version of what it once was. I heard they have expanded it a little since the rebuild a couple years ago but it’s still not close to the old layout.
221 is a really cool track - fast, big, rough and really good dirt as it is on a riverbed.
My good friend owns Iron City, 221 an Catheys Creek. I havent ridden on any of them recently. Used to ride Catheys creek all the time back when i was racing 21 years ago. I agree about CGI. No idea what they are trying to accomplish down there. The day I rode back in May , they shouldve just canceled it altogether. Instead ,they made everyone wait an extra 2.5 hours to sign waivers and ride , then closed 1.5 hours in when it started to lightly rain again. They made the place worse by trying to "fix" it with the dozer. Pushed loads of mud all around and made a quicksand swamp. Then posted in insta that evening when the sun was out. "Another awesome day of riding at CGI, come on down!!"
I wont be back again. Too far for the risk of it not being good.
The Cathey's Creek guy used to have open practices on occasion and I would go. Fun when on the track, which I would describe as a 3/4 scale moto track.
Problem was that there were a lot of classes. even quads. even the two PW50's that showed up, 65's minis, A, B, C clases. Dude had 8 or 9 practice classes @ 20 min on the track per class. The riding vs. standing around with thumb up ass ratio was way, way out of wack. Then there was an hour for mid day track maintenance... It was the most agonizingly long wait for my next 20 min ride time, which went by in a flash. That was the last time I ever wasted an entire day for 60 min track time
I love the long down hill at Iron City it reminds me of Broomtioga NY long down hill.
Yeah unfortunately nothing like that there now.
