I'm not a big fan of either rider, but the Reed/Stewart crowds on here defend their favourites like they're frickin' family, it's as if you guys (by that I mean the majority) don't enjoy the controversy..

You should see the shit that goes down in the pits at a speedway meeting, I remember a few years back when a guy straight up floored a dude for something that went on during the race, and it was being televised....live..


IMO, neither Reed or Stewart should be fined - the incidents that took place on track were down to close racing, and the bitchin' afterwards was nothing but handbags at dawn. Apart from the injuries sustained, this is good stuff, lets not spoil it by demanding punishment..

I'd question whether James is going to be back next week. Once the adrenalin wears off, he's going to be one very sore guy.
Mr. B, you make it sound like he'll be back in a week or two. No way. even with surgery and a plate he's looking at four to six weeks with swelling and all. Then he will have to start riding again and get back to speed. I don't see him back for 5 or 6 rounds if at all. I broke the same bone and couldn't hold a glass of water for 2 weeks.

Really depends on what and how is broken. If it is a simple "boxers fracture" then it is POSSIBLE that he could ride but not likely. Really it is most probable that he will be out at least for a few weeks.
Stewart, if he has broken ribs, could also be out. You could try and ride with broken ribs, but the risk of punctured lungs is high if he were to go down again. It is likely that he would only be in "points salvage" mode for 3 or 4 rounds before he is mostly healed up.
It could be that for both Stewart and Reed the title is out of hand for 2010, but racing for braging rights and total wins will fill the late rounds.

don't understand why chad was stuck behind an injured james for 5 laps?

should of been heading for the front as he was on the pace...Rv looking good for a title...

Racing incidents happen but celebrating an injury is bullshit no matter who it is.

Chad Reed sucks; he's an immature rider who can't take losing because he can't even beat the rookies out in the field. He has two DNF's for the first two races- I've never seen that happen. He can't beat Bubba, so he has to take him out in a corner, then hit him in the head while he's laying on his back in pain. Chad Reed is a loser, he never was good and he never will be. His season is over.....he won't even podium.

The triple crash was stewarts fault. But I would be a little pissed if reed took me out on purpose too. Reed should be fined. This isn't the first time he's hit a rider when they go down together. Reed plain and simple took stewart out. Stewart should also be fined for kicking reeds bike over also. In my mind taking a rider out is worse then kicking a bike over.
