Its not Anti-electric. Its common sense. And there's zero ways I can spin that question. The answer should be a model 2023 because of manufacturing date, not order date. Its a good thing. Considering I heard they were originally going to print VIN plates the moment the pre-orders were made, so customers knew the assembly line number of their bike. It would be total BS if the plates started the last 8 of the VIN with the letter M for '21 instead of P for '23

Note also the historical progression over a few months: It's a scam > the bike is not real > the factory is not real > they will never deliver bikes > they're funding dealer bikes with $100 pre-orders > 6000 bikes/year is ridiculous, they should deliver more to satisfy this huge demand (to which everybody agrees, including Stark)

Unless there were improvements made that were not implemented onto the bike I got. I wouldn't care. It's still the same bike, it would just be a different number on the frame. A lot of 2024 models will have been built in 2023 with some parts having been built in 2022 or earlier. Its still a new bike with no hours on it. It might be a little bit of a bummer to wait 2 years and get a bike labeled as a 21 while all my buddies are getting 24's.
But really it's just a letter/number. The date of manufacture will be the date that matters.When was the last time You or somebody You ride with got a BRAND new bike, that they knew was new. And spent any amount of time looking at the Vin? I guess if You have a buddy that likes to tell stories that end up not being true. And You like to call them out on their BS. You might be looking at their VIN's when they roll up and claim they are on a " new" bike.

If I'm not mistaken, that bike should be a '24 model. Anything manufactured in 2023 will be, according to NHTSA, or whatever acronym agency oversees that kind of thing. It just depends on when it was "built."

Gongrats on the bike… but I got a question on the beast behind it… mine just lost 2,4 and 6 I only have 1,3,5 and reverse looks like pressure sensors failed. You ever have any troubles with your GTR… I got 90TKM on mine now and first troubles.
