I don't believe he is right by any means. That said, it wouldn't be too hard to rig the series if someone or a group of people wanted to.
It would still come down to the rider executing, not getting hurt and not having mechanicals but a series could be rigged.
**I don't believe every NFL game is rigged but I definitely believe some are. Just takes the refs and a few players to make it happen.
How would you rig an MX series? I mean it’s plausible that a single rider could tank a series but trying to prearrange a specific result would be damn near impossible.
That would involve multiple riders and teams; way too many people. On top of that, unlike stick and ball sports, there’s no referee or umpire to make judgement calls on the field.
One could argue that the AMA could make decisions that effect results.
