Quote from RX: "In covering the Reed/RV story in our February issue, it appeared both riders were mature enough to handle the situation. Reed suggested Villopoto may be faster than him at the test track, and he’s even okay with that. Kawasaki has long held to giving their riders equal treatment, and some believe the duo can even push each other to go faster. Like we said, so far, so good."
Sure, why not? according to a few people they may as well give out the championship plate before round 1 as well.

Im sure there was probably a dv faster then reed rumor too. Seems like every year on every team, the support rider is laying waste to the star at the test track, only to have A1 come and it not be the case at all.
In lusk's case though it was no rumor, chad's camp actually tried filming him out there to see where he was faster.

We all know how the season turned out though.

Very True. I was talking to RV's Grandpa 2 summers ago and he told me that RV turned faster laps at the Kawi practice track than Stewart. He actually told me he thought RV would beat Stewart out of the box.

RV's Grandpa is a super nice guy!!!!!

Yep he is and also he still rides some off road or at least he told me he doesSmile Seems like the guys that go furthest in this sport have a good family back ground and support.

RV has been in this situation before, (with Townley and the outdoors 07) they worked on the bike and by the end of the season the team was going 1 2 3 nearly every round as, (and 1 2 3 4 at the final round) with 2 riders going for the title the bikes will surely get better,

Reed will go as fast as needed... KW even said, Chad can find it when he has to, even if the pressure is from behind... he needs a 10th a lap to beat James... that is all... Hopefully RV and Chad push each other...
That 1/10th a second lap can sometimes be almost impossible to reach. Not saying Reed can't do it , but I'm sure James still has a little in reserve as well. I'm also in complete agreement on this season......it's gonna be a whopper!

I would hope RV would be faster on a track he has ridden for the last 4 years and has dialed, than Reed who has ridden the track maybe 5 times.
Not the same track every year, they tear it down, sift the dirt and rebuild, one year it was an identical track to one of the Anaheim rounds.

Actually the season starts Saturday night. RV or Reed needs to beat Stewart. If Stewart Wins A1 2010 SX is going to be a snoozer.

Not only is your nose brown but the rest of your head as well. Want to see if you can get your shoulders in by Vegas.
