It's not ironic, because in this case it's not babyish to call someone else a baby. Are you claiming that Kawasaki is acting in an adult fashion?
Send your $$ to send a rider ,since it upsets you that much.
I am claiming you are acting like a baby that doesnt get your way. Are you actually going to the race, what do you have vested in the usa team.? You seem pretty mad that someone isnt doing what you want.
Tomac's multiple crashing during the 2017 season played no part in him losing!

No way, "the sport" for me is riding my own bike, at local tracks, not donating to pro riders in another country!
Exactly, so let the teams spend their own $$ the way they want.
MXdN riders represent their country's organizing federation, it would take 1-2% of the AMA's cash to send a team, pro teams don't need to be out of pocket, and people don't need to donate for the US to send a team.
And once again. It isnt your $, they can use the $ the way they want.
They can and they are, the AMA's board of directors see no profit in sending a team to represent the US...
You sure care alot about a country you dont live in. That has no affect on your life.
They suck. They were ready to go when it was at Red Bud though! Pathetic.
I want to see competitive teams from all countries at the MXdN.
But not enough. To donate, got it.
Hypothetically, if three random privateers from the US decided they wanted to make the trip and bring their bikes, could they represent USA or does Decoster have to sign the team up?
The AMA needs to approve it, they would be representing the AMA.
I donate to Team Australia all the time, by buying from MXStore!
Well dont worry about the other teams then. Not your $ or decisions.
Are you helping out? Or happy to see no US team?
You seemed certain a couple of months ago that there was plenty of money around to send a team.
Pit Row
I'm not worried, I do find it funny that the US claims they have the best riders, but France has had more MXdN wins in the last 10 years, and the US doesn't want to send a team this year
Hey Guys, hows about these 'superstar riders', pay their own way to MXoN, national pride? How much can it cost? At the end of the day, like Roczen doing this World SX thing, outside his usual team agreement, even like Straight Rhythm, a one off, private group going to wave the flag for the USA. Sure, special sponsors would jump on board! Marketing extravaganza! USA won't live this down if they fail to attend. Cowardly. Someone remember a Puerto Rico team years ago, Pastrana, Jungle boy Windham & Sipes? They made it happen.

If it’s at all accurate money seems to be the issue.
Decoster needs to go.
I hate Baby Boomers so much.
See my post earlier where I say that Tomac lost the championship because of his weirdo crashes and slow restarts.
1. It has fuck all to do with a SX title in 2017.
2. There are a lot of dependencies from the Kawasaki MXGP team for the US to send riders overseas to race a one off race like this. Currently, the MX1 team are on the 24 KX450. The US riders are on the 23. There isn't enough time to get Jason and/or AC prepared, that's the #1 reason why there isn't a Kawasaki MX1 or MX3 rider going.
3. On the 250 or MX2 side, again there are dependencies required from a non-existent GP team. As I said in a prior post about the des Nations, it would cost a minimum of $50k to send 1 PC rider. Plus, making sure that there is enough personnel to go during what is considered "off time" where they take vacations, weddings, etc that they put off during the season.
Remember, the des Nations is not a contracted event for the US teams and riders. This is a business and a race overseas really doesn't benefit the US teams.
If everyone wants a PC Kawasaki on the line at the des Nations, I will start a T-shirt campaign effective immediately and I will get Mitch to send one of his guys(preferably mine) . We need $50k. Who's donating?
The des Nations is not a contracted event for the MXGP-teams and riders either. Yet they were there. In 2007, 2010, 2018 & 2022.
Ok and?? I'm not talking about MXGP teams, I'm talking US teams.
Seems insane to me the amount of money and size of the mx market in the US, yet they can't get 3 dudes to France...
There are countless working guys dragging bikes or even racecars with stacks of wheels/tyres and spares packages around the world on their own dime for fun.
I love having American involved but it sounds fair that if you can't be bothered to go to it then you don't get to host it...
That's the whole point... it not being contracted for US teams SHOULD be a non-issue if it isn't contracted for any other team showing up...
That's exactly the problem. You should look at the global issues, not just the local ones. Do you think it's beneficial for European teams to go across the Atlantic to compete in a one-off race? And yet, as I stated, they were there. Last year Coldenhoff, Renaux, Seewer and Geerts for example raced on a Star Yamaha at RedBud instead of their usual bikes at the GP's. I don't see why this couldn't work out vice versa, for, let's say, Anderson. Evans isn't selected, so there's a spare factory Kawasaki waiting in the shed.
Why do I have to look at global issues? I don't care if it's beneficial to the euro teams. That is an FIM event, not an AMA one. It's beneficial to those teams to keep Luongo happy. The AMA teams don't have to.
Again, a spare 2024. Jason nor AC is going to race that thing without testing. KMC wouldn't allow it either.
You guys are missing the point entirely. Everyone wants to point to a specific OEM. It's not a particular OEM at all. It's a money and time thing, bottom line.
Funny thing, no one bitched when the current MXGP World Champ didn't show up to Red Bud last year.
Back to the most important question....how much can I put you down for to send a Kawi guy??
