Where's all the Jett fans after SMX RD1?

I'll preface by saying I'm not a Jett fanboi but he did excellent 2nd moto. Made some adjustments and came out swinging. This post should be sent to the dumbgeon, nothing to see here.

We're hiding our heads in shame as he's way back in what 2nd place now...

Man he is in such a rough place, all he has to do is finish first in the next 2 and have Chase finish second and he is the champ. 

Panic certainly has to be setting in at this point with his win-rate moving from 100 to 95%. Wonder if o'show still has a job after this weekend?

He is waiting for Chase to tuck the front, because it will happen. 

Maybe Jett is holding some back so he can be fresh for the MXDN. Other than Plessinger and RJ the rest don't understand wanting to win it.

He'll probably be panhandling in downtown Platypus Junction this time next week...with a bag over his head from shame.

Ive been seeing the same nonsense on Facebook. People act as if Chase passed jet and pulled away. He was fastest in practice, got two really bad starts, second Moto he smoked absolutely everyone to get into second and at that point the race was over.

Seriously, what are you dildos even watching?

Yeah. They should give his bike to a privateer. 
 

Jett has a lot of fans including myself who won't get riled up but on the flip side he's got a lot of ball garglers who are super sensitive and very easily riled up.  Since you're specifically looking at downvotes I would expect about 150 garglers show up here. If you compare it to my thread about his streak ending, only 70 garglers showed up.  I think you might exceed that here, time will tell.

As for Jett, I'm calling he'll win out at SMX.  But come Supercross '24 he'll continue to have more struggles like he did in SMX moto 1 Charlotte.

I'm right here. I was pretty damn impressed with how he obviously figured things out in the 2nd moto.

So, let me take a guess: you weren't impressed with his results? No worries. Everyone has that one silly thing that gets to them.

Myself, I took note of how he started to get things going in moto 1 after a disastrous 6th lap...and picked up the pace mid moto and really went for it on the last 3 laps including throwing down a 1:16 to pass Cooper.

Dude fell off for sure. Went from 3rd in the points standings to 2nd smh. 

I was a Jett fanboi, but now I can't even. It's like, yeah, no, you know what I mean? Dude clearly sucks if he doesn't win everything, all the time, forever. Second place is the first loser!  

I’m tempted to say the track didn’t play to his strengths.  He’s strong on technique and finesse - this was a WFO track and not very technical.  That’s not to say he couldn’t ride it fast (as shown by qualifying times and moto 2) but it evens the field more.

In truth it was probably just one of those days.  They’ll happen.  

Washed up, should retire, stamp it!

I thought his setup looked a little off in the first moto and his bike was dancing around more than it did outdoors. I'm going to make a guess it's because Honda was focusing on finishing off the perfect season and he hasn't spent a lot of time on a 450 on a supercross track. I bet the team made adjustments before the second moto, and I thought he looked a lot better. I mean he finished 2nd behind the current 450 supercross champion, he's fine.

Bingo! When I think of RJ; the first thing that comes to my mind is “that guy is a winner who just wants to win…….” 

How could anyone ever forget how old Jett is? Weege and JT remind us every 11 seconds. Ralph thought Jett was 16 years old for 2.5 years it seemed! 

And yet here you are, jett’s on ya lip or finger tips as your his biggest fan!!! just admit it, we all know it.

If you were Jett, which round would you rather have your worst finish ? I’m pretty sure that he’s going to be just fine, I’d bet that Sexton realizes this too. There’s 5X points over the next two rounds, RELAX

Although Jett has 2 250 SX championships he has always been way faster out doors than in SX much like RC. Sexton has always been better in SX than out doors. In saying this I do not think that a rider of Jetts ability will not get much better in SX after he gets more SX races under his belt.
