I can only comment on the shop rates here but I have three places close that could do it. Rates are $100, $125, and $150 per hour plus parts.

Why should you pay more because they guy is slow?

Come on now we are talking profeshenal125 here. I am sure it has to be lightened, blueprinted, balanced and polished.

There are literally thousands that can do it so how would you go about collecting this data?

Lots of variables too.

New crank?

Just crank?

whole motor?

Pressing/ Rebuilding old crank?

motor in the frame?

Motor out of frame?

is it your neighbor or your friend?

Crankshaft replacement sounds expensive. I drove to work today and filled up my truck with gas. Had shredded chicken with peppers for lunch. Inquired about a person to take over my position for replacement.

Wow, I was gonna say about $60/ hr. It’s been awhile I guess.

Just for refrence I work at a dealer in SoCal that carries Yamaha. Flat rate time straight from Yamaha's dealer portal says 5 hours to remove and replace a crank. Labor rate here is $150 an hour.

image 45New crank, engine in bike. The main bearings where rusty- grindy. I had the engine vapor blasted. Then it sat in a box for 4 weeks. Not sure if the vapor blasting or the muggy weather rusted the bearings.  I hv a new crank in it now. And hv a spare crank now. The bike is a 05 cr125 non DBP. Haha I,m selling the 05.  2 dr apt 1 dr said my wrist might be fractured in 2 areas. It’s difficult to type with the large brace. I still went riding twice. Rub prescription cream on the wrist & tape it up good. It’s been throbbing since 8-6. My wrist was fine riding all the other injuries not good like shoulder to wrist ligaments, etc. The track is real slippery hard pack in most areas.  In a hurry to get my speed up on my 1st ride it went ok. Sunday the track closes at 1pm so I,m in a hurry. The track is slippery I want to pu the aggression. On a up hill with a sweeping left . I went to arc off the rt side bank & the front end & bike kept pushing into the deep silt bank. I held it wo dragging the left bar. I landed on the rt side of the bike. The front end faced down the hill when it came to a stop. Really weird crash.   My groin muscle hurt instantly. A lot of icing since Sunday. And rub that strong prescription cream on & hit the sauna shower then a cold pool then cream again , repeat. The crotch area is the worst . Pic doesn’t show it but it’s yellowish in the crotch area.

Were the ladies at the diner making shredded chicken and peppers topless and/or practicing on a stripper pole when they went on break?

If not, sir, you have exposed yourself as  lame imposter.....

And I think the guy posting as pro125 is an imposter as well.

The REAL pro125 would have proof of his yellow groin and pics of a chick at the massage parlor rubbing it out.

Looks like your groin went to Des Moines. Never let the blast media get in the bearings Bro. Game over.

The real Pro would have his chick and her mom taking care of the groin injury. Who is this ?
Glad to see you riding again. Take care of that busted up body of yours.
