Dealing with the money.
Ive seen it in other sports (like tennis for example). You’ll see players who make it big quick and then they get complacent or lackluster and it takes several years to get used to the instant wealth. MCGrath seemed to handle this well, as did most of the others. I think JS7 had somewhat of a lag in performance after several years on the big bikes. So we’ll see how it affects Jett.
Jetts had wealth for few years already...
I think the only real distraction that screwed up JS7's career was "Bubba's World". Not a bad idea. Just super bad timing.
i think the tight group of people they have and his family keep him pretty grounded.
His dad wouldnt let the money cloud Jetts head
This also happens with musicians. It's the 3rd album in my opinion that show's whether a band can continue to kick a$$ while handling fame/fortune.
On the first 2 albums you can hear the heart and the struggle in the music. By the 3rd, do they still have the passion?

I get the impression that his parents are pretty "long game" people, and they're a big enough part of his life that he'll be just fine.
Both brothers already have a ton of money and nice things. Hunter has successfully moved out of the parents’ house and is married. Jett still lives at home with mum and dad. Him getting out on his own might be a challenge but he seems so solid and level headed, I don’t think he’s going to have issues.
He may not have issues and as some have said, he’s had good money coming in for a few years, so I could be way off. I have no doubt he’ll continue to win, but even so, big money plays a role and can be challenging to handle and stay motivated. It may be his only challenge, since winning is not.
I think his biggest challenge will be not getting bored of winning and looking for something else instead..
Don't think money or fame will be a problem, he has good people around him that'll keep him in check.
His biggest issue will be distractions...
He may get bored sooner than expected and want another challenge..
He's already training for his next career...
That boy hasn't been the same since...
Jett’s biggest challenge in ‘24 will be ET3.
Kid has lightning in a bottle…..how long it will last… nobody knows… hopefully he has a great career, remembers where he came from and who got him there, then retires healthy…to quote the great Kenny Roberts about his son… “ he is young… he has plenty of time to turn into an asshole” …
I honestly dont know why they have to have the girlfriends, wives etc. there at all. It looks silly IMO.
I think this is one of the few kids that has been taught maturity beyond his years. Why would you think that the rest of his life is different? He's already divested in donuts, lol. But in all seriousness, it's a very tight knit family dynamic. Even if you listen to Hunter talk about not having money for food. There's a lot of things that have shaped him. Also, He's probably more focused on competing against the return of a host of top tier riders coming back. He knows the stars aligned for this outdoors and the challenge coming will be more intense.

Because they don't want calluses on their throttle hand?
Haha! Took me a minute lol
Pit Row
I know it’s a Jett thread, but Forker seems happier.
I cldn see Jett going to MotoGP ala jmb one day!
No one know's what Jett's biggest challenge will be. Herling's was Everts getting him on an 80 at an insignificant race.
Things happen.
Mic, was a little testy in this one lol
Boy, isn’t that the truth.
It takes you a minute?
I think his biggest challenge will be to handle his first 450 huge crash because that will happen. I hope not but SX doesn't care of my hope.
I asked Jett at Unadilla what he would reward himself with after wrapping up that 450 title. He mentioned the Ferrari he got after his last title had satisfied his car wants, and said he didn't need anything else, so the 450 bonuses and title would be invested.
You all can dream up crap about jett, but he has his future in his own hands, and his family, small group of people in his corner advising him!
Don't count Tomac out.
Tomac will give anyone a challenge
Sounds like he took Tomacs Mantra
The hairy lasso will be the biggest distraction.
