Could he have a perfect season...possibly. Will he have a perfect season...probably not. It won't be long until Sexton & Webb...and Ferrandis, all come to the party. Jett has a habit of letting pressure get the best of him.

Sure! after 18 straight moto wins by Jett with 4 to go and you think he'll probably NOT! have a perfect season.  Give me a Bleepin break, could be the dumbest statement in the history of this forum.  I could see you saying that after the first or second National, but not after 9 straight Nationals.

I honestly don't think herlings will beat him, if he shows up. He has nothing to lose now. Buddy creek could be his most non pressure, dominating win.

Herlings can t beat prado, febvre either on a regular basis.

Because its on the verge of becoming reality. Seems relevant. Seemed a ridiculous week one prediction ……. yet here we are.

Yep, Daniel Blair nailed it two years ago...

Watching that now almost gives you chills. Daniel has a good eye that’s for sure.

This didn’t age well.

Well I was convinced a perfect season wasn't possible when there was another rider with ability close to his. I still can't believe he did it. He had some serious pressure from Chase in a lot of races and somehow kept it together. OP nailed it though.

He only got one thing wrong - he said it would take Jett a year or two to adapt to the 450.

Either way it’s crazy Daniel could see that and be willing to make such a prediction. And now if just manifested before our eyes all summer. It just means he might be even better than Daniel thought. He may not be wrong in the sense he was talking about sx also. So have to wait and see how that goes for him.

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek.

Nonetheless, the things he’s great at seem to me to be ones that translate well to SX - great starts, smooth style and few mistakes.

Besides the first lap shuffling did Jett even get passed once all season?

I don't think so. Except for Kenny when Jett went down at high point. If you can call that a pass

His mental game is so on point. Chase was on his rear fender a lot

Only when he crashed in moto 1 at High Point and Kenny went past him.

That was also the only crash he had all season.

After Jett caught and passed Ken he took a bad outside rut that bounced him around a bit. Kenny took an inside rut and passed him again. Jett went back by Ken a few turns later. So Ken did pass him.

Right, I remember seeing that video on IG. So Kenny had the only pass and ended his pole position streak as well.
