Was Honda HRC the best team for Chase or will he win another AMA Championship on a different brand.

I actually thought Hunter was at a slight disadvantage most of the time on the Honda.
Jett and Chase would be the top two no matter what they were on.

You put way too much emphasis on the bike. Jett and Hunter would have won the titles this year if they were on Kawis, Yamaha, whatever

I was at Unadilla and Budds. The PC Kawis look potent as fuck

Yes, exactly.  Hunter was at a disadvantage. Wonder how that affects Jo next year.

I suspect they backed off the tune on the Honda after the blowup. It didn’t look too far off before that. I’d expect HRC to address that in the off season, so hopefully it’s all good for Jo.

Honestly I think it will be a good thing for him with a change of scenery and who wouldn’t want AP as a teammate

All depends on how he melds on the KTM.
I am personally hoping he finds it a better machine for him on race day.

Hunter will be even better on the 450 like his brother

Yes he will, but inconsistent, just like this and last year.

FIM European championship

FIM World Motocross championship

Motocross of Nations

AMA Supercross

AMA Motocross

WINS in all of them

 Remind me of the inconsistencies?

Place is full of fucking idiots man.Just typing idiotic shit.Sad

Inconsistent with results 3/1 this year, won't cut it next year when others will be going 1/1 or 2/2, 3/3 every weekend.

As good as Hunter is, and he is a better 450 rider, he won't make the top 3 all year unless there are injuries.

Also your maturity shows with your derogatory comment.

It's impossible to say, history shows that the best rider puts the bike on top no matter the color, RC, JS and CR won on every brand they went on.

Agreed. I think the star and pc bikes were better, at least by the end of the summer

I don't see the change in bike helping Chase. He and Eli swapped wins last year and everyone was saying how perfect Chase looked on the bike plus they were gapping 3rd place like he and Jett have this year. Note this year in comes Jett who goes 22-0 and now people are saying that Chase needs to change bike.

Now, I hope I'm wrong cos it makes the racing kind of boring,  but I think Jett is just a step ahead of the rest of the competition and everyone is just racing for second. Sure,  Chase put it to Jett a couple times but unless I'm mistaken,  Chase never passed Jett in 22 motos this year

I sure hope he figures it out and can elevate to Jett’s level. Chase seems like a good dude that works hard. The biggest challenge for him and the KTM is minimizing those brain fart moments. Can’t win when you’re on the ground.

The KTM program is very well proven with the right rider. They’ve taken plenty of non-championship guys to winning championships, so if history repeats I think it puts Sexton in a great position. I feel like the baker program alone will level up Chase. More on the mental side then the fitness side.  We shall see.

I hope personally hope it does or we are in for the Lawrence show for the next decade

It depends on how Chase gels with the KTM. Some people just gel with certain bikes. Tomac elevated his game going from Kaw to Yam. Roczen somehow really does well on Suzukis. KTM might be the magic bullet for Chase. And it might be more like Kryptonite. We'll just have to wait and see.

I hope KTM will listen and let Chase make the KTM his bike. Sometimes these teams think they know more than the rider.

Should be interesting, because we all know Chase is fast and in shape.

I thought the rumor was he wasn’t working with Aldon, is that outdated now?

Kawi! He'll be on a Kawi next! Dude can ride for sure. But of course I'm partial to the green machine. I see it as a possibility down the road.

Will Chase train with Baker when he is at KTM? This could bring him 2 titles and a burnout Smile

Why would Hunter suddenly be as fast or faster than Jett to be handing Sexton his ass? That's not very likely at all IMO.

The only thing that makes next year tougher for Chase is Tomac being back. Not sure he races outdoors. But winning in 2024 SX will be insanely difficult for everyone.

Sexton will grab some wins IMO. As will Jett and Tomac. I couldn't confidently back anyone else to grab a win. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone out of Roczen, Anderson, Webb etc. managed to grab a win. Just seems like the top 3 will almost be predetermined like the RC, CR, JS years.

starts do not mean best HP bikes....suspension setup for hook up, rider reaction, clutch engagement (or lack thereof), positioning on bike after launch, etc etc all impact how good the starts are not just engine performance. You could have 10 more HP than any other brand but cant do a start for shit

I don't see the bike/team being a factor in this matter. In the end of the day Sexton is going to go up against one of the best ever the rest of his career. I can see him having a Reed-esque career when Reed went up against RC and Stew.

I don't think anyone beats Jett straight up the next 5-7 years. Gotta capitalize when Jett eventually gets hurt.

Jett said himself that Hunter was the same speed if not faster then himself on a 450. Be curious to see how true that is.

wouldn't be surprised if Tomacs in a Honda sandwich all season

“He's putting 45sec on the rest of the field”.

This. He is blazing fast. If not for Jett we could very well be talking about Chase having the undefeated season. This to me more than anything puts into context how dam fast Jett really is. Aldon has worked miracles in the past and maybe Chase finds a few more seconds somewhere but I personally think he was riding at his limit and above it on some occasions. I’m afraid the KTM may put him on the injured list if he tries to ride it like the Honda.
