Thanks man! Wanted to fill the void for a page that only posts extremely clean 2t builds— These days perhaps more of a solid reference for anyone looking to do a build haha

It was a mr250 frame changed to fit an 90's cr250 engine made to look like an Elsinore.
He also had this similar 1976 mx125 with a 99 yz125 engine in it. Front n rear disc. Swingarms were custom made. The second radiator was hidden like under the seat. Street legal
Bump the sickest thread in here.

Marzocchi forks?
What’s the story on the #11 cr125 like where is the pic taken, who built it for who ? I looked my air box ovr good & put 3 holes in the same spot. Are those crf brake rotors ? Are they larger ?
don't really like the look of the airbox holes, but it's noticeable. got my hands on it last winter. the reeds were broken after halfway through the season, so I decided to get her a radvalve, new piston, and CRF forks/front wheel. the back rotor is from a '18 CRF, front is a 270mm factory style rotor. only using a new adapter, the old caliber will bold right up.
just snapped some pics before everything gets dirty again:

Pit Row
I think I read that they did. They were a factory left over from some team over there I think.
YZed One Two Five Killer!
Just picked it up yesterday, I think I'm never going back to my YZ250! lol, its very quick with me on it, I'm 180 pounds and there is no vibration in the foot-pegs or handle bars, very smooth. Interestingly, this thing has not dripped a single drop of oil, my YZ250 spit oil everywhere from the breather hose, I am not sure if a 125 is jetted any different. I did not know they come with a V-Force 4!!
I've noticed that when I shut the gas off, the YZ125 revs super high right before it shuts off when the gas runs out of the carb, the YZ250 doesnt do that. Maybe it has something to do with the V-Force reeds? I can't wait for the heat to die down so I can get this thing out on the track and have some fun!
I have a YZ125 that doesn't rev high when running out of fuel, and a YZ465 that does. Both have V-Force reeds.
97 yz
So as usual, it's prob nothing to be concerned with? it's brand new. I can try and post a video of it doing it.
Sounds like your YZ is running bit lean. Try raising needle in carb slide by a notch or two
Edit: Newer mind my first answer. You were actually talking about shutting the fuel petcock while engine is running? That's a very bad idea with a two stroke because the engine get's its lubrication from the oil in the gasoline...
Post a reply to: Kick a** two strokes!
