JC311MX Added a reply to Buying Levers - comparing Flo/Arc/Pro Taper/ASV
9/17/2024 5:01am Thanks yall, seems to me Arc are gonna be the best. My nephew replaced his clutch lever on his 112 and it pulls so much smoother now than the stock lever.
JC311MX Added a reply to 2023 YZ125 - Jetting Fix
8/25/2024 6:02am My 24 YZ125 has about 10 hours on it and even after jetting it to FMF's specs, it can probably go a tad leaner. At first the bike was spewing unburnt oil everywhere but the jetting seemed to clean that up a little bit. On the days I ride, it runs like a champ, but when I'm getting back on...

2/13/2024 1:42pm Thank you so much! There was a photographer at the track the other day and took this one of me using a 75-300mm. Sounds like the Canon 70-200 f2.8/L USM should be a good choice for my EOS-R. I do have a 50mm f 1.8 STM prime lens I could also play with when I am able to get closer...

2/13/2024 9:19am I am looking at the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 (since they are about half the price of the 70-200) to put on my EOS-R to shoot at my local track. These photos posted in this thread are great, are any of these photos yall posted shot with the 24-70mm lens? I am trying to get an idea of the depth. Thanks

11/11/2023 3:45am Greetings everyone, I am curious what everyone likes best in terms of levers. I've got my bike set up the way I like with exhaust, chain, and graphics but I have never bought after market levers. They all look great but was curious if there's any main difference between these bands, Thanks in advance.

JC311MX Added a reply to Mixing 2 kinds of pre-mix foul plugs?
10/21/2023 2:01am Yes sir. It was worse with the 927, seemed to clear up a bit when I to the HP2/Blud, I'm running 32:1 with E-Free 93.
JC311MX Added a reply to Mixing 2 kinds of pre-mix foul plugs?
10/20/2023 4:26pm Update - yep! it was definitely the old gas. Running like a rocket again with the fresh gas. Here is a picture of my silencer after a day of riding. I've heard mixed opinions on over-jetting these things. Mine is jetted 175/48, which was a hair off of the stock jetting. I've had lots of people tell me they regret...

10/19/2023 5:45pm Greetings all! I had about a 1/4 tank of Honda HP2 still left before dumping more gas with Blud premix on top. Bike fired off fine, got down the road and fouled a plug. Swapped plug, got down road, same thing happened. It's got 7 hours on it and is jetted 175/48 with some drippage out the silencer, nothing excessive...

JC311MX Added a reply to Engine Noise 2019 CRF-250R
9/10/2023 4:46pm When he gives it gas in the video, does it almost sound like a hard knocking-noise?
JC311MX Started a new thread Engine Noise 2019 CRF-250R
9/10/2023 2:10pm Greetings! I have a friend who has an odd noise coming from his Honda's engine. The bike was behaving normal up until now running like a champ, oil changed regularly, etc. Has anyone heard this noise before? I'm trying to help him possibly diagnose the problem without having to spend the money for a dealership to look at it, if...

9/9/2023 9:39am Thank you! Do you think a set of Pro-Taper bars would help any?

9/9/2023 9:38am I'm no expert, at all, but it used to be widely said that the ticket used to be the BRP top triple clamp/bar mount to ease the vibration a bit on the 250. I bet there's a more recent equivalents, the XTrig PHDS bar mounts are a noticeable on my dirty four stroke.

9/8/2023 11:31am Those smoky smells... it's funny how the smell of a 2-stroke can take you back. After talking to everyone here and getting good advice about pre-mix, I am officially off of Maxima927 and getting something more suitable to my riding style, I went with the HP2. Its a distinct smell for sure, smells like my old CR80 from 1991. The...

9/7/2023 4:00pm Thanks! I think they actually ran double the premix on this first tank like they did my YZ250, The breather hose doesnt spit but the Silencer & pipe sure do! She's spraying premix all over the bike and killing all the mosquitos at my house hehe.

9/7/2023 5:54am Nope. Although I don’t ride my dirtbike as much as I used to. I continue to cycle year around. I really like 100% Brisker gloves and the Memlon levers for added warmth. My cutoff is 10°F for roadbike stuff. It also seems like February is the coldest month, for us anyway.

9/7/2023 1:51am For everyone in NY, Michigan, and all the areas that get a legit winter, do you all hang it up in the winter months when January hits and it's the coldest part of the year? I live in the FL Panhandle and it was so hot this year that I have to give-in and stop riding from mid-July through the...

JC311MX Added a reply to YZ250 has got... THE DRIP??? (power valve hose)
9/6/2023 10:17am I was previously running Maxima 927 which is a castor blend and a high flash point. My bike was spitting a lot of unburnt oil even after jetting leaner, but I found out it was due to my riding style. I am not ringing my bike out nearly enough for that kinda of oil. 927 is for racing, not lugging...
