We don't know exactly what happened, although that was a pretty clear yet respectful post from one of those involved on the previous page. I appreciate announcing things that aren't final is never a good idea and I get people being weirded out / unhappy about that part of it.
But whether you like AJ or not, it's pretty lame to take happiness from someone else's failure when they're just trying to progress and make things happen in their life. Dude has a kid on the way too.

It's the selling of it before it was real and finalized that's rubbing people the wrong way. I mean the guy had prices and bike rentals up on the website.

What were the "clear signs" you got that it wasn't AJ's track? From a video of him taking some laps around the track. Are you clairvoyant?

If you watched the video it looked like it was still operating as GPF. There were campers riding when they showed up man.. And with how much AJ mentioned changing things up I just thought it was pretty weird they wouldn’t be immediately shaping dirt. South of atl I drove all back roads to the east . It’s mostly trailers or 1200 sq ft houses for 100 miles. Yes there is elite rich in the st of Georgia but that area has none. I also worked pipeline 88-98 in 43 states . So I kinda know a little about those states. The se in a lot of areas is over populated now. So the land prices I,m sure r high. I,m in A bad part of Phily now yet land is extremely expensive.

It sounds like the deal was 6 months in the making. Using that time to start making the content and getting all the marketing materials together was a smart move. No, it wasn't very smart releasing all the content before the deal was 100% inked, but I don't think AJ needs anyone to tell him that.

But if the purchase was with a land contract, and the purchaser defaulted by not making a scheduled payment, then I know the seller sure wouldn't have any trust issues....if the payments were equal amounts then they got half the purchase price and still have the property.
Looks like the person that got screwed was the investor that put up half the money. Looks like they should have protected their investment somehow.
AJ lost me when he posted that video saying that Supercross is safer then Motocross.

Half of the deposit was paid, not half of the purchase price. Buyer may have got cold feet and ate the 1/2 deposit.
Most the comments on GPF's Instagram seem to support the deal falling through including some big names in the sport.
