What a thread..
Each year, I tend to like the colors on some of the womens gear offerings more than mens. I'm curious, has anyone tried on womens MX gear before? I'm specifically curious about the Astars 'stella' gear. I'm worried because the mens 34/XL is already tight on my arms and quads. It appears to be cut higher in the crotch for women. Anyone work at a dealer and can go try on some of this in your size and let me know?
Please proceed with your jokes as well.
That would be sweet matched up with a Yamaha.
I like it. Purple and gold were my school colors growing up so always been a fan of purple stuff.
No but I occasionally wear women's underwear
No.

My wife just ordered some 2023 Fly lite women's gear and it was to big for her. We can't return it so I decided I would try it out. The pants are size 7/8 and the jersey is a medium. I normally wear a 32 pant and medium jersey in men's and the pants are just about perfect but the jersey is pretty small. I actually really like the stuff and might order a large jersey to try.
Just women chest protectors. I wear a chest protector over a bra stuffed with Brest implants from my wife’s boob job she had redone. I need to start a thread on why people won’t talk to me at the track, it bothers me.
The womens jersey is distinctively different than the mens? that may be bad news. I can barely get into a mens XL from astars and the fluid line is not stretchy at all.
Isn’t almost all of that new fangled Fxr gear made for women? Sure looks that way
No, it’s made for dudes that don’t spend half their day at the buffet table and wear Dockers.
I've had a lot of customers see some of the womens colorways from Thor and like one or more of them. So far nobody has tried any on. With Thor stuff the women's gear , well it seems like all of it really, runs a little smaller than some brands. I only have one customer to go off of as far as a comparison for women in the men's gear , and then which womens gear they fit into. And the pants seem like they may be less of an issue than the Jersey . I want to say the result was similar to what the other person posted about the Fly. She fit into the same range of pants as they commented mens and womens, but the mens jersey was sized bigger.
I'm not very familiar with the Alpinestars sizing for pants/jersey's. But I think going up 1 size would be the minimum in the shirt. Or a good starting point. As some of the 2024 stuff starts filtering in, I suspect there will be more interest in the women's gear this year than past , so I may get guys that like it enough to give it a try. And I'll report back here if this thread is still around , and or You do not have an answer yet.
I tried women's MTB shorts once and there was absolutely zero space upfront. Felt like I was wearing that Borat thong it was so tight down there
. Maybe it's the same with Motocross pants?
Do you also wash other people’s gear? Lol
This thread has Bud light written all over it.
I have to have the crotch region expanded on mens gear, I don't think the ladies gear would work for me.
Thread title should be…
Have you ever tried on womens gear? (Not that there’s anything wrong with that)
This Has come out of the closet cut Dick off and change name to Saffron written all over it!!!! Which I think I’ll pass on.
I’ll just keep wearing my pot bellied cheap O’Neal and 😆Fly mens last years gear.
Only if I have my lace thong panties on that day....
Pit Row
Its not like anybody is saying the want to race in a dress. The Women's gear looks similar to mens in every way other than colors and perhaps the designs on the gear when compared to the same brands other offerings. I was going to make a Bud light joke too. But then thought about how many times I've had to say " That's womens gear" to a customer.
There is plenty of Gear from Leatt ,Fox, and FXR that people could confuse for womens , just going off the colors.
Its not like 99% of people could tell the difference if it was not labeled womens gear. I never have to tell anybody that the sun dress in the causal section is not available in Mens.
With how tight some of the gear is these days I don’t see much difference.
This is a safe space
I‘m just here for the comments 🍿
I dated a chick a few years back that had to wear mens slacks because of her 1970's grooming habits.
Only on a Friday night with a bit of Whitney Houston and bottle of red.
Did you make "the sound" when she took them off?
Same
What concerns me is I wear a 34/XL in everyday life. If i buy that in womens gear I bet I'm going to look like a hot dog that got microwaved too long lol
I'm just gonna order it up and find out. Free returns if it doesnt fit right lmao. I'll post up some pics of the fitment, what angles you boys want?
