I'm on an Austrian bike and am not/will not be staggered.

What Triumph do will make zero difference to me for at least 2 years.

I'd never take the risk of a new brand/bike (Suzuki/Kawasaki 250 for example) not to mention no 450 for at least a year.

So that's an additional 2 years to wait to see if it's a worthy/capable product. (no disrespect to RC intended! Smile )

Did anybody else see the pic on Facebook.  Was pic of a MX bike with Triumph on it.  Looked black to me, I clicked on it and came up no longer available.  Going back to see if I can find it.

I don't think I ever saw an official John Player Special Triumph in racing.

It was all Norton, even when Norton,  Villiers and Triumph were merged  into being NVT.

Though, I could be wrong - I'm old and getting ever Bearbrained. Being old, the JPS bikes are something I remember with much longing .

They were not always Black and Gold , or Black and Silver - Dave Croxford's  Tubular and Monocoque chassis Nortons were in White, with Blue and Red.  The Rotaries especially were something special (  terrible Pun[s], I know ).

You can find plenty of Triumphs done up in the John Player Special Black and Gold, but they are owner / builder bikes .

I mean shit I get they are trying to build hype but this is annoying as hell, wait another 2 weeks to see some obscure shots of the engine next, they dont even show you the subframe and swingarm in the "chassis" video. 

Frame looks good though, peg mounting area looks linteresting, lots of stuff machined from billet so going to be an expensive bike im guessing. Not sure how many aluminum spine frames there are if any currently? Most aluminum frames would be considered perimiter frames right?

Those could be cast on the production frame. I'm watching the video now, so maybe they say something about the production frame being billet. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were just showing the prototyping phase since they are starting at the beginning of development.
