Pro Circuit built the bike. They always sound great.

Would seem like a pretty big gamble for someone like Moranz or Robin to go for this and potentially leave SMX points on the table...

By the time they get a 2 stroke, do testing to get it good, find a way to get it to Washougal....are they really money ahead even if they win the Purse?

If they don't win the purse they are almost certainly losing $$ and valuable SMX points.

*Unless I'm missing something and decent purse money has been put up for the top 3-5 two strokes?

14 downvotes....love it.

Moranz had his worst National so far.

What happened to Jerry?

Was bad ass to hear so many 2 strokes out there though!

Wonder what this is about? Honda probably called DC and told him to put a stop to the madness 😂IMG 9113.jpeg?VersionId=1Pncl8XMhhp33

If true, this is the shit I really hate about the pro level of the sport.

I only seen the second Moto and there was not a mention of the 2 strokes. Until  Weege finally cut off Babbling Bubba to show the running order of the 2 strokes.

Tweet isn't there anymore. Not sure if Cade is the most credible but I swear I saw a good bit more people saying they would donate.

I hope this becomes a annual event and the pot grows. Was fun to watch unfold.

How could MX Sports cap a outside sponsors payout?

Steinke also won $500 from Main Event Moto. They put a $500 reward on the 3rd worst 2-stroke finish but also made a rule that the rider would be ineligible if he had a DNF, which Hand did.

I plan on going to Washougal next year. It's something the wife and I have talked about for the past couple years. If this challenge happens again I'll personally hand a rider $500 (finishing position/reason TBD).

Good job from those guys.

I also don't know if any of the guys ran a Phathead, so maybe one or more earned an extra $300.

It would be cool if the 2-stroke challenge became a yearly thing that moves to a different race each time.

There was an additional $1,000 for the winner if they were on a YZ so maybe that's what they were referencing. He's got a RedBull deal so I'm sure there was probably some incentive there to create content around as well.

Red Bull sent Carson in a sweet rig to the race too

Should have one at Red Bud, although many probably wouldn’t make it in as it usually has the most entries

Sucks for Matty 2nd lap of Q1! Hopefully he’s going to go through the bike during the break to make sure she’s all good.

I’d say red bull putting money into a monster backed series would be the reason if any

I feel like the "blue iron foundations" sponsor would've been more fitting on a steel framed YZ lol Moranz bikes looks good though

Highly doubt it ac is still new to podcasting probably was throwing meat balls he could knock out of the park one after another he’s no matthes imo but has potential sports soft now in that regard back in the 80s and 90s they would speak their minds and tell it how it is no cover ups or dancing around questions now it’s just podcasts for people to come in and tell you what to buy

does anyone know what fuel the two stroke guys were running?

Since they arent raceing for overalls id assume they'd ignore the unleaded rule but i could be wrong.

Is there a good unleaded fuel that makes power in these bikes?
