ET doesn’t seem to be a ride around in 5th kind of rider. If he likes his Yamaha and can win. He will race. The real fans miss him. Little time off to get all healed up won’t hurt.
I still remember what Tomac said on the whiskey throttle show a couple years ago. Something like "I'm gonna continue racing as long as I feel that I can win races".
Having his first summer off since 2015 and his recovery being so much faster than expected will give him some extra motivation I think. He already confirmed that he's defintely out for the SMX playoffs, so the earlierst we get to see him hopefully will be A1. Man it feels fucking good knowing Eli and Kenny will still be present in this sport.
Remember when Kenny got off the couch and was all over Jett’s ass at Mt Morris? All you Jett fanboys are delusional. This is the weakest 450 field in history. Jett’s gonna be bummed when the big dogs are healthy again.

Well, I can at least imagine Jett realizes he’s going to have to step it up a notch. If he’s “trail riding” like his fanboys say…no worries. Tomac will certainly keep him honest.
All those big dogs were running 20-30 seconds behind Eli and Sexton and this year Jett is beating Sexton. Which big dogs are you talking about?

Jett is not racing WSX.
It took that other very well conditioned SX athlete Vince Friese a full 9 months to get back into it after his Achillies rupture.
That timeline would have Eli back in competition early February, so 5 or 6 rounds into SX.
I doubt he'll do a partial series; more likely his aim, as it was this year, is 2024 WSX.

As much as I’d love to see someone challenge Jett and win a moto, it hasn’t happened. Kenny couldn’t.
