Washougal
Maybe sooner.😉
I hope so, I’ve always been a fan of his raw speed. I’m not sure why he gets so much hate. The guy has come back from injury after injury.
He's now being coached by Ryno. If you watch his vlogs he recognises that elements of his riding technique have contributed to some of his problems.
He'll be back for Washougal as already noted above.

Seems like a really good dude. He’s always had the talent and speed. Hopefully, he can put it all together now.
What were some of his issues according to ryno?
I think he got alot of hate because the way he looked/acted. Came in a bit cocky, had bleach blonde hair, dating (engaged??) a Monster woman. Tried to jump the awkward rookie phase and go straight to rockstar champion?
I wonder much longer he will last, one of the most fragile riders in history.
Yea I hear you, but at the same time he isn’t the only cocky kid to come through the ranks. I think he’s been humbled with the injuries and has a new perspective. I forget which podcast it was but listening to him talk was depressing. The guy has been through a lot and you could hear it in his voice. I always root for the comeback stories haha
I am so ready for this cat to hit the race track. His new vlogs are fantastic. 2 ACL's and he's back in 6 months. That takes serious commitment.
Truly my only hope to stop the Lawrence landslide.
Is he staying at PC next year?
We're gonna see the kid at Millville? Let's go!
The first time I ever saw Austin was on amatuer day, Sunday, after the pro national at Millville. I dunno it must've been 5+ years ago at this point (time is flying maybe it was 10 years ago!) but even after a day of racing from the pros, I saw him rip the table and single before the whoops like no one else the entire weekend and me and my brother just looked at each other like "holy shit, that dude rips."
He's off the radar at the moment but I believe in the kid.
I follow this sport closer than most people, and I don’t think the kid has ever been cocky. He’s always been respectful and well spoken. I think it’s that people like to hate on good looking kids that pull hot chicks. Haters hate.
I always root for my fellow D18 guys, seen Austin rip Aview on basically every bike on team green. Rode with him while my buddy was training for supercross out at Sweeney’s. Austin is a good dude who has taken his licks, and in my world you get what you put into it. He has gotten back up, won again, gotten back up won again, gotten back up, won again, and will get back up and win again. You can see he is evolving with Ryno in his technique, and everyone should understand why he is going to Millville. It isn’t to win, but to get gate drops, continue his technique, and get his fitness up. He is coming off a decent injury and building. Excited for him
Ryno! Well that’s it! Once Forkner get them hips unlocked, it’s all over for anyone else on the starting gate 👍
Pops is forkners dad. So if we do see him sooner the Washougal it means he will race this weekend ar milville.
Would have been cool to see him 450 outdoors had this season and sx gone to plan. Could have been a good uptick for his career.
Hoping the last rounds go well and we can see him have a killer ‘24.
I've been rooting for this dude to have a healthy season so bad for so long
Pit Row
I don't think he's fragile. His get offs are just gnarly.
Hopefully Ryan can tame his win or die trying attitude.
Thanks man 🤙
Good was hoping we would see him! He’s got the talent and speed just always had shitty luck it seems. Hopefully he gets some good results and stays healthy and contends for a title next season.
Funny story. I ran into Austin in the San Jose airport about 2 years ago when on a business trip - completely unrelated to MX/SX. I gave him a pat on the should and said "hey, what's up farm boy" and have him the head nod. He said what's up and gave me the head nod back with a sneaky smile. He had come off a flight and was headed to baggage claim and I had just gotten in through security. He seemed surprised I recognized him. I was surprised when I patted him on the shoulder I could tell he was fairly muscled up in the shoulders and back. Could definitely tell he had been rehabbing at the time. Been a fan since he was an amateur. I grew up back in the 80's in a small town in rural Missouri in the Ozarks. Always good to see a fellow Missouri kid do well for himself. Best of luck when he gets back. Will be rooting for him.
thanks man.
Maybe you could tell us what color the sky is next time.
Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than other colors because it travels in shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.
The Forkner hate doesn't come from his riding. I dunno what he's like in person, but his media persona for a while was pretty bad. He shit talked like no other, especially online. If you're gonna be arrogant and opinionated you should expect a little blow back. That's the magic of free speech. You can talk shit and people are free to call you out for it. If you can't handle it, don't talk shit. Easy.
He is (was?) way, way too arrogant for his results. It is a tough thing to look in the mirror but he could’ve been a multi time champion by now. Obviously I know this from sitting at my keyboard on vital.
anyone got these proof and screen shot of this “shit talking”? Ive watched this sport for years and never saw it…
He’s back this weekend in Millville.
