James: I never rode as fast as I possibly could in a moto.
Ricky: Don't tell me that!
They had some good back and forth today.
I bet chase don’t think that was hilarious!
That was priceless.
Simply priceless.
It must have been his mind wandering with boredom those two or three times he plowed the ground with his head, then...

I was on the mower listening to the race absolutely laughing my ass off at the tuck the front comments
You can't go out like that! 😂
It was pretty damn funny but then it really got me thinking about all the times James tucked the front end in his career....
I thought James was excellent yesterday. And that whole " Tuck the front end " part of the segment had me laughing. I really enjoy listening to him and his thoughts on things going on. At first , I wasn't sure.....but he's gotten better. I know some don't care for RC , but even he has some insight that everyone needs to listen to. You're listening to two of the biggest legends in this sport. I listen to every word. They made it to a spot where I never could of achieved , and really dig their perspective on things.
I actually think is was a “breakout” performance for Ricky. Those two definitely have some me chemistry.
They were more entraining than the 2nd 450 moto, o lu reason i kept watching.
Yeah Jetts style is phenomenal, but after the first 3 laps, not much racing up front.
Was thinking the same watching it. Someone said in the race thread that it's because he stopped trying to be "on" and I think they're right, he sounded more relaxed and natural yesterday.
There does appear to be some real “chemistry” between them. Never would have believed it was possible 15 years ago. Enjoyable to be clued in on their thoughts back in the day. These two are better together than they are apart.
I do notice Ricky shows James more respect than other he does other riders in the broadcast team. They were good on the weekend.
After J Coop washed the front in moto one… “JS sometimes gets tired and falls over like a wet noodle too!” Bubba’s a bloody ripper!
It was great. You know they are still competitive and still taking pokes at each other with these references to not having ever ridden their hardest etc but it’s great to see them getting along. Just wish Ricky would drop some of his habits like saying “inside and outside” all the time when no one is taking insides and outsides haha
James: I never rode as fast as I possibly could in a moto.
Ricky: Don't tell me that!
That's pretty funny, for sure. Ricky has said many times how he had to ride his ass completely off many times to stay with James, and beat him when he did. James knows how to mess with RC's ego too!
JS comes across as a natural broadcaster, his delivery is calm, analytical and well crafted in a way that really engages viewers. The criticism of RC has always been more that he can sometimes 'force' things a bit and doesn't feel so natural, but that is far less of an issue when the two are combined because I think the sense of fun that Stewart brings to it all actually breaks down the barriers and allows RC to be less tight and more relaxed.
They're growing into a really good combo, with the potential to be one of the great ones. If the sport finds a 'lead' to pair with them (and JW did a good job on the weekend as well) then that's a broadcast team could really elevate the sport to new viewers and that's a positive for everyone. I'd love to see JS and RC paired alongside Malin for MXN....
Feels like a honeymoon with all the gushing over each other….
