Et will never race mx again.

If he comes back he will be sx only.

As for herlings. Just like Stewart. He will win coz he rides over his head. Race 24 motos and it will prob be a different story.

Herlings has 2 championships in 7 years.

Who knows how herlings come back will be after this, there is a switch waiting being pressed on to tune it down someday. But maybe the bullet has no fear and goes faster then before 🙈 this season is over so don’t expect big results anymore maybe at Mxon, but my wish is just go ama and do something amazing no rider has done before win both championship’s.. but I’m pretty sure both company’s don’t want that kind of attention. If a rider from mxgp goes ama just to prove he is the best rider of the world then after he succeeded goes back to mxgp. then ama lost all their  credibility to be a big deal in the mx world  and herlings may be the only rider who can pull that off

Jett will have more 450 championships than Herlings' whole career before the age that Herlings even moved up to 450.

Herlings is nowhere near Jetts level.

Yes, they sent Tom Vialle over to the US to get the AMA guys used to an FIM MX2 champion arse kicking...

Herlings has a big ego and doesn’t like to lose, wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already looking at the calendar to prove it.

If both are 100% I would give it to Herlings, just for now.

Herlings has won two titles since moving to MXGP 7 years ago. What makes you think he can pull off any title let alone Supercross in the US if he cant even get it done on his home turf?

Individual races is another story. If he lined up at Southwick there's no doubt in my mind that he can win. Full season, nope.

By the way, if in the future a standout EMX rider moves to MX2 and dominates from day 1, does MX2 lose all its credibility?

Yeah, right… Grinning If you ever saw more than one race with Herlings, and if he’s 100% healthy, he’s the type of rider who will loose one moto, at max, the first one, the second one he will get used to track etc and destroy competition. And you can put any one against him.

Don’t write off Vialle just yet. He’s just finding his feet.

Much like RV in his short GP stint.

Agreed. You would have to be a fool to think weve seen anything close to Vialle's potential.

Jeffrey is almost ending his Career, Jett is starting out.

We will never see a true battle, both are very fast.

I don't follow MXGP's but I was wondering, is it like AMA MX, where anybody (with an AMA pro-license) can sign up and try to qualify?

I believe you have to be on a team or something. I know Privateers cant show up and try to qualify like here in the US

Sx pays more $$, thats  why vialle come to the usa, if mxgp was the best series in the world he would have stayed.   Kroc, ferrandi, lawrences all came for the same reason. Dont kid yourself.

You’ve kind of contradicted yourself.  GP riders do go to the US for $$$, but that doesn’t mean the MXGP isn’t the best series.  By MXdN results (the best gauge we have), European countries have, generally, been producing better MX riders over the last decade or so.

GP champions are invariably successful in the US.  I can’t think of any off the top of my head that haven’t at the very least been race winners and genuine title contenders.

I still wonder why more US riders don’t go to the GP’s though.  Guys like Ty Masterpool who is clearly an extremely capable MX rider but isn’t so great at SX.

Is Lommel one of the few tracks left en EU that soon will close down.. so on which track will these clowns be faster then? I think Vialle has proved it, he is very good, super good, top10 in the world like Herlings but no sign of him/them being any faster than anyone else...  I root for Vialle every week but apparently MXGP riders are not very fast, just really really good riders. Same goes for every top5 on every content.

What a silly argument.

I wonder if this Gifting is faster than Fast Freddie?..both Swedes, but never in the same race. Then again, doesn't matter, MX and SX is just fun how it is!

Something to do with Brain Science i think Laughing

Fully fit Herlings would run with Jett and probably beat him, but its very rare to have him fully fit these days. Would be fun to see Jett actually go 100% for a full moto though, imagine how far ahead those two would be!

It says a lot about US motocross when we can poach the defending MX2 Champion, without even trying. Everyone wants to come to the US and race the BEST. Its gonna be even funnier when Prado wraps up this MXGP Title and then leaves to come to the USA and brings Gajser with him.
