RV and Jett were both 18 when they won their titles, and Jett was in his second full season.
What's so interesting about Deegan is his best quality so far has been consistency. Most rookie phenoms come in with blazing speed and can throw down for a few laps but struggle with fitness and staying upright. His sprint speed isn't necessarily anything mind-boggling, but he's avoided mistakes and doesn't seem to lose too much ground at the end of races. If he can refine his skills and work on becoming more efficient, he'll be the total package.
The overall is what counts nothing more nothing less ask Mxon riders 😅

Talent is talent and Haiden Deegan certainly has it and deserves all the credit. Like always, if he wins the Championship some will say he was gifted it, because Hunter crashed and got injured which is BS. Hope he keeps it up, because someone is going to have to step up their game, so we don't have 10 years of Jett Lawrence winning everything.
Don't think they had much say in it, I didn't get the feeling that they low-balled Deegan or didn't make him an offer. I believe Deegan left KTM, they didnt leave him. The writing was on the wall, his personal sponsors aligned with Star, and Brian is not a dummy, he was going to make sure his son got on the best equipment possible.
Deegan has way more than Talent. It would of already ran out by now with inconsistent moto's if he was only working with talent. He's the full package.
