It was speculated that RC was threatened by DB's skills in the booth and pushed him out.
Said video led me to Blairs Breakdown of Arlington.
They (RC & DB ) had a pretty awkward interaction on the track. DB handled it like a pro, RC came off pretty harsh. Could be an isolated incident. But it was weird nonetheless.

Rc is the color guy. DB was doing announcing. If DB was promoted they would have been partners.
I don't see how the rc felt threatened story line makes any sense.

Yup RC is the best shit talker in motocross. Daniel is a pretty good shit talker himself and why he got along with so many racers. He would tweak them pretty good during press days, pit reports and press conferences. He got Phil last night on the Pulp show asking Phil if he knew anything about the privateer racers that beat him at High Point.
And Cooksey, he's the biggest liar in motocross .

Not saying I'm a Cooksey fanboy or anything, but there is a time and place as friends to bust each other's balls with jabs at each other. When one "friend" is trying to work and do something that doesn't involve the other friend at all the other friend should be respectful and not interfere with first friend's work. Good ole fashioned friendship ball busting usually goes both ways. This did not appear be that way. Its just looks poor on RC and is not fair to DB.
Well if RC was threatened by DB, then he’s for sure gonna be threatened by JS. I bet RC thought people wasn’t gonna like James as an announcer as much as they do.

Ricky is a goofball. It's almost as bad as him fake blowing Stew publicly on broadcasts and in interviews every chance he gets.
I think that he quite because he eventually wanted to get in the booth full time, or more than he already was. They(feld and supercross) fly Todd in from london when they need him, when it would be a lot better to have daniel in the booth that has more knowledge on the sport than what i believe todd and leigh have. And they need to stop giving free passes to ricky for everything he gets to do in the booth "just because he is the GOAT". He is the GOAT of the sport, not the GOAT at announcing the sport. I may be wrong, and I am ok if I am but i think thats one of the reasons daniel left.
