colecrawford Added a reply to Trade tc 250t plastics for gas gas
9/26/2024 4:13am Good call on the seat. As far as plastics though, I'm not wanting the red, I just prefer how the gas gas looks. Also I have a gas gas 450 and want my bikes to match.

colecrawford Started a new thread Trade tc 250t plastics for gas gas
9/14/2024 5:48am Looking to trade or buy for gas gas 250 two stroke subframe, gas tank and plastics. I have a very clean Husqvarna two stroke and want to make it a gas gas. I believe 2019 to 2022 are the same.

6/12/2024 4:56am Silver Creek in Morganton, NC. Closed, unfortunately. Original layout designed by Gordon Bowden from Ireland. I loved it.

6/11/2024 3:57am I think if you gave two free race classes and had a way to rotate people, that would work. I would for sure flag if I new it was free and someone would tag in before my motos.

colecrawford Started a new thread 22 tc250 kymco cylinder
4/21/2024 4:40am Hey guys, I'm trying to get a new cylinder for my 2022 Husqvarna tc250 two stroke. It seems the part number for that bike is a single year which makes things difficult. Yet, all aftermarket cylinder kits are compatible listed 16-22. I guess the real question is, is the 22 cylinder physically different, or is it just part numbers? I...

colecrawford Added a reply to Fork options to replace air fork
3/10/2024 9:11am I appreciate that, I'll research it a little more then send you a pm. My setup is completely revealed and I really like it except in rutted corners. I can't imagine I'd like the link though. I run 100mm of sag. I really didn't like how the bike felt at 105 and 103. I have considered a different shock though...
Rawly Liked a reply to forum topic Do you bother measure cylinder/piston clearance on new cylinder works kits?
3/7/2024 12:31pm If I don’t have an inside mic. , wouldn’t feeler gauges between piston and cylinder be close enough to check for clearance ? I’ve done .001 , .0015 , .002 , etc. until piston doesn’t move freely. The thin ones bend to the shape of the bore.

3/7/2024 12:30pm I wouldn't necessarily say I have a source...kyb internals fit right into 4cs forks with very minimal machining on the wp lug. I got a set of 4cs a few years ago for a couple hundred, and a set of kyb from a bike being parted out for 300.

3/7/2024 12:23pm That is very interesting! I get nervous with stuff I've never heard of, especially at that price point though. Seems almost to good to be true.

3/6/2024 5:57am If I send the cylinder off to be replated, I send the piston with it. If I bought a complete kit, cylinder included I normally just check the ring gap.

3/6/2024 5:50am Is the cone valve better than the kyb kit? Because I can build a kyb ss fork setup for under 1k. I've been told stock kyb is better than any cone valve setup.

3/6/2024 5:48am Good idea on the linkage. I had the technical touch kit and the front end was doing the same thing in ruts as the stock air setup. No matter what direction I moved the forks in, the bike would either over steer or under steer. Could never get it to work right in ruts. What link are most people having...
