I have a red, vented airbox cover (UFO), screenless cage, and map switch. PM me your zip code, and I will work up a price for all of it. I have two used twin air airfilters too. Interested in those? I also have the Husky/KTM standard clamps and bar mounts and a header off the 250 KTM (not sure if that fits the 450). I have a new front fender too, but shipping that might be painful unless you want the header too.

3/22/2023 4:29pm I haven't found the definitive answer but I know I missed the o ring that goes between the right side main bearing and the seal. The bike did seem to be smoking more of a lighter color on break in. Which I've recently learned could be blown head gasket or burning transmission oil. The wear marks on the piston make...

Did you already found the cause of the Damage? Have you Check the Piston to Cylinder clearance , think should be almost the same like on the 300 with 0,06mm

3/22/2023 4:38am No, like a true idiot I got impatient and was trying to get it ready for the weekend. I think the wear at the ring gap was secondary. The damage towards the exhaust port was much more substantial.

3/21/2023 3:16am Thanks for that info! Looks like an air leak seize. It's gotta be from one of the seals in the bottom end. Also ring gap could've also been part of it.
