If the law was important, you'd have had to enforce it against your own, and you didn't. According to James Comey, NO prosecutor would take this to court. So they didn't. Well, now that's the standard when someone else does the same thing.

You haven’t heard it because it hasn’t happened. There are a few ‘news sites’ with headlines that say that Trump wouldn’t/shouldn’t take a plea deal if offered, but there doesn’t appear to be any evidence that the prosecution has offered any deal. At least as far as the case dealing with the classified documents, anyway. Perhaps the New York case may have a deal offer.
It’s bizarre to think that you have to specify which criminal case you are referring to, or which of the 60ish criminal counts brought……

It’s a theory..,but this article says, if real, it would have to come from the defense so as not to imply that the DOJ just doesn’t want Trump to run. So probably not going to happen…Trump will ride this to prison…or many he’ll somehow manage to get re-elected in time to pardon himself?
I wonder if he ever regrets running for POTUS? His life was pretty good prior to pissing off all of his (former) liberal friends…now he’s facing prison time and is hated by about 50% of the country.
