Harlan and Masterpool making some Factory guys look very very over paid.

Props to them both, and lets not forget Masterpool was dead last in Moto1.

He is worth every penny they are paying AC and Webb.

Webb was in the running for the biggest title in the sport just a couple months ago.

It was an excellent ride though. Best privateer performance in at least a decade.

He obviously still isnt 100% , but i dont recall a ride like that from a privateer that wasnt at a mudder.

If Tomac is there ,him and Jett are gone by over a minute, nobody else is even close,

I don’t think Eli would be much better than where Dylan is currently , the rumours are starting to appear true , I don’t think that new Yamaha looks great at all outdoors

Ty made that race so much better! It also shows you that a factory bike isn't automatically better than a modified stock bike. His bike looked better than every bike other than Jett's (which he's so good he'd made a PDS KTM look amazing)... He passed 3 former MX champs like they were 15th place guys and it took everything Dylan had to get him at the end. Remember guys (fans/groupies/local riders/people who never rode factory bikes etc...), "factory" doesn't always make it better. The last few years, we've seen horrible set-ups on factory bikes and some of them won championships. Winning a championship doesn't mean you have a great bike either.

Harlan looks good on it since the beginning of the MX season. It's when they start changing everything on it that he doesn't look that good. To make an opinion on a bike, don't look at a factory bike. Everything is different on them compare to stock. Geometry, forks, shock, electronics, engine components etc. A close to stock Yamy & Kawi looked pretty good today at 1 mile altitude...

That’s a fair point Harlan definitely looks comfortable on his yam ! Dylan just doesn’t look comfy yet on that to me maybe it’s not the bike and he’s struggling to get going this year , his speed outdoors is normally insane he beat the best of them in 21

Masterpool would have podiumed 1st Moto had he not gone down.  Maybe even 2nd.  I know this is a repeated comment on vacant factory bikes…. but after today how does Kawi not put him on Jason’s bike until Jason is back.  He made green look awfully good today.

Depends when jason comes back, takes time to get used to a different bike.   What about masterpools sponsors?

Everyone is saying put him on a factory bike but apparently they do NOT need to put him on a factory bike. Let’s see if he duplicates this performance at high point. Excellent ride for Ty and Harlan though!

Why put him on a bike he just beat? If it ain't broke, don't fix it... The only think he'd need is money i would think. Kawi should double his contingency or come up with some sort of bonus program.

Could/would a factory team like Kawasaki ever let a non factory bike pit out of their tent but with their factory graphics? Or would it be too bad of a look for the factory equipment to risk the bad PR?

I was cheering for Masterpool and Harlan. it was fun watching them spank factory guys. But Masterpool has never finished a season. He seems to pop up and show speed a race or two a year and then vanish. AC basically has 1 hand, but will still be a top guy every race.

No ,   is dcor doing his graphics,? if kawy wanted to help him they could give him some small hard parts ,plastics etc.   No need for his bike to be under the tent

Who are you training now DV? Marv is injured, just wondering. Are you done? You seem to really know what you are doing, shame if you are done. Of course life is always about new things. I thought Forkner and you were going to work together?

Kawi should offer him some factory brakes and anything else he’d like to try, as well as some backing.

Or great PR because of running a modified stocker.

No way dude. Factories should always consider one race rather than their entire careers 😂

Id say Deegan is the most embarrassing Factory rider.

Oh......you're talking about embarassing factory riders? Yeah, great day for Masterpool. Was not a big shock to see him pass Adam. But when he passed Dylan and Cooper. That was next level. Those dudes are not pushovers.

I had to laugh after the 2nd Moto when you have 3 Factory bikes in a little group just past the finish line and they hardly acknowledge Ty.  I can read lips through helmets and they said, “that dude was flyin!!”  …..”yea….he couldn’t afford to maintain his 250 so he moved up”…..”damn”…..

besides the awkward thumbs up DF gave him they did acknowledge he rode awesome in the post race interviews……

He didn’t do awesome because of the bike…he did awesome despite it.  No question he had some great help getting it where it is but it’s not close to a factory bike with factory resources.  There’s not a privateer out there that wouldn’t give his left nut to jump to a factory bike…even with 1 week prep.

Quite the opposite! It’d be the best ‘look’ ever!

It seems like the factories just can't leave a bike alone for long. If you don't get the result they want, change something. Seems like it gets to be a mental game. Didn't Jett and Hunter say they haven't changed their bike set up in the last 3 races?

Masterpool running with AC, AP, Ferrandis says a lot. Guys complain about a bike setup and he’s out there on a production platform just sending it. This is the sad thing about our sport, you have guys out there on factory bikes making 300-500k and a guy like Masterpool making $2500 for the weekend and no one will even look at him
