This has nothing to do with cancel culture or the libs, I promise. Let it go

Yeah Tyler, that’s what this thread did. It called him out. The OP didn’t say anything about 💯 should fire the guy, just posted how crappy his tweet was. You and a couple others are the ones that are trying to cancel the criticism of his tweet

Side note, as much joking and (usually funny) memes and stuff that are aimed at Vital/Vitards, I am always impressed, or just generally interested, by people and companies who pop up to respond to the dedicated enthusiasts here directly or just to offer insight and a legitimate educated opinion like DV, J-Bone, Jeff Alessi (while knowing he'll catch a few of the same old comments), etc, just as recent examples.

I'm gonna shut up before I sound like a suck up but props to the lot of you.

Free speech is good and all, but if you act like a dickhead, don’t be surprised when people call you out on it.

Some girly men outing themselves here over a pithy and accurate comment.

Eli's injury and lost championship disappointment was on an equal or higher emotional level to Ciaciarulos. He remained the stoic model of manhood that has gained him so much respect.

I believe this dude used to work for VonZipper. We were at the transworld event at milestone in 2010. The dude proceeded to convince a minor that if he would let him shave a cul-de-sac haircut for a couple pictures he would give him a pair of their new glasses. Well the kid agreed, got the haircut, took the pictures, and John stiffed him of the sunglasses. Once we were back to the truck his parents lost their shit. Not because John didn't give him the glasses, but because he shaved the top of the kids head without permission. Dudes a clown!

I’ve raced that GP on everything from a WR400 to DRZ400S to a KDX200 and even a KX125…

Those canyons and those rocks will make a man out of you! Laughing

Congrats on getting your race on.

Can't claim the race, more of a dualsport prerun to see if we have a chance for next year.I found a very comfy barstool at the" bucket of blood" saloon, so except for the riding part, all good to Go!

Johns traveled the world helping some of the best riders feel comfortable on the track. What he said wasn't false but in his position wasn't a good idea. Id love to do what he does. People need to stop all this over sensitive shit and end all this Gay shit hitting America.  So there's more than 2 genders, hell no but you see it here with the come give me a hug attitude.  This country was founded on the mentality of men not pussies crying over what someone said.

Was addressing the group.

Lets talk about it, fine. Thread is fine. Using CNN language and blowing up his boss is a little bit estrogenic, however.

How much of his great lifestyle was because of uncle Bevo? Sure as hell wasn't because he is a swell feller'.

Another example of the closed loop system.

That’s right, bro. It’s not a matter of common decency, it’s about manhood. It’s about asserting dominance at all times, especially on the internet. If someone you don’t know does something emotional on tv and you don’t tweet about it, then you’re just a low t soy boy beta cuck. All these dudes in here calling 100% guy an idiot are just salty trannies. They only wish they could be alpha like a middle aged google guy.

Because he does it on purpose just to piss people off, must suck to be such a failure in life that being a  miserable SOB on a internet forum is all he has to look forward to. Blush

Trying to find the moral of the story here.

is it that it’s okay to say mean things about Mike Alessi but not Adam Cianciarulo?

Right? If you’re trying to troll successfully, don’t make it obvious by having the hot take in every single thread.

they're both right. i mean, Adam has had a tough road, and i think there's an instinctual deep sense of relief that washes over you when you feel like its YOU that's survived trauma that's taken out others. it's sort of this bittersweet thing.

at the same time, i sincerely and humbly thought Adam was gonna laugh it off on the podium as patronizing because he's so damn smart.

i know adam's talked about being into stoicism. stoicism means you never get too low but it sorta also means you don't let yourself get too high either. he deserves to be up there and he's earned his place, and all that. no judgement whatsoever, but i anticipated he'd be a bit more...stoic i guess.

John's not wrong. maybe poor taste, but he's not wrong. let's let people benchrace without cancelling them please......

now yall that can't grok nuance go ahead and  downvote me.

I don't see how that post falls in the category of "bench racing". It was a straight up personal attack. The take away from this should be, just because you CAN post something doesn't mean you SHOULD post it.

One of my good buddies who was a pro SX guy for a good bit said anyone who makes fun of Alessi for crying has no idea that amount of work and heart that goes into that level of racing. Mike beat a multi-time champion to win that heat race in Supercross, a sport he’s notoriously struggled at. how could he not be pumped lol. That’s why I thought it was shitty to even compare it to AC getting choked because they are both some of the hardest workers in the sport and each had their struggles. Mad respect for both of those guys.

I'd probably also be as bitter as this guy if I'd grown up around pro motocross and all I'd managed to accomplish is being good at "prepping goggles".
