I don’t know what’s more pathetic; that guys tweet, or the guy that started a thread on vital crying about it.

Looks like he’s since deleted the tweet and apologized to Adam for saying it. Good on him for doing the right thing, but you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Still a dick move and will be remembered as such.

His tweet was at least a cautionary tale for everyone else. Saturday night, drinking a few beers and watching supercross is generally a good time. But when the last shred of intrigue left in the series disintegrates in an instant, that mood can go dark. Best not to be on social media in cases like that…

Come to vital instead!

I had asked who he was in the AC is Legend post and posted the screenshot of the tweet. Yes he deleted the tweet after getting a lot of heat, not sure if that really counts for taking ownership or not 🤷‍♂️ But guess good that he apologized D4AB5A54-0681-45AB-AC41-8190932C0650.jpeg?VersionId=70

So let’s get this right, he didn’t apologize about being a dick about the crying statement, he just apologized about comparing him to mike. So he apologized about nothing. that dudes been that way his whole time in the industry, talks nice to your face until you turn around. Clown.

So as an AC fan, I'd like to pile on that was a shitty comment. I also would like to add. I don't know the guy and

I hope that I'm not judged by a few shitty posts that I've made because I've made a few myself. So I'll not judge him

by one of his worst posts. Props that he owned it (whether by pressure or self introspection). Hopefully he learned

something by it. And AC doesn't seem like the kind of guy that's going to dwell on it mope around about it.

His apology was weak. Didn’t say sorry and comes off as trying to justify what he wrote.

Hello everyone, my name is Ludo, CEO & Co-founder of 100%.

Disclaimers (:-) : I just created this account so I could post here the words of 100% and nothing else. This account is for this one post and I will lose my password for good and really hope nothing like that happens again. (please don't pull me back in ;-)

Added note, I am not responding to the quotes above from 183Matt & seemoney49, but to post something here, it looks like I have to respond to somebody's comment.

So here we go :

the 100% Team and I were made aware of John Kuzo’s tweet on Sunday after he posted it.

First of all, without trying to dodge anything, please, allow me to clarify a few things below.

Most of Kuzo’s racing support business is related to caring for 100% riders, we do pay his service company for each event he travels to. So yes, even though he is not an employee of 100% & he does provide race support services to other companies in the sport, the larger part of his work is doing the goggle prep service. So yes he is indeed associated to 100%.

One thing I know for sure about him is that we can ask any of the riders he cares for, they all claim that he’s the best at that goggle prep. sorcery, they do love him and some even specifically request him in their contract.

Being the stepson of Bevo himself, he comes from a real MX family and he obviously did learn his craft from the best.

Then,

John Kuzo is an adult, is responsible for his words & actions, and nobody @100% nor I can control what he says or does. similarly, I cannot control anybody else in the world.

These were his words not from any of the passionate people @ 100% and definitely not mine either.

In a message I received today, somebody made a point that he for sure would never say something like that about one of the riders he works with. I agree, this is indeed a point that I made this last Sunday when I messaged & expressed our company-wide disappointment for his poor words and judgment. I even added a suggestion to him that he first and foremost should take instant responsibility and apologize to Adam. - I heard that he did -  To me, at this stage, this is now between him and Adam.

Tobe clear, as a former racer myself, I took offense in the same way you do. I said my piece to him and the future will tell if he learns from his mistake or not.

I do not think there is a debate to have about anybody's decision to associate and blame 100%, for this.

People have their own words, conclusions & decisions, and I am confident we will receive more messages like the one I received today. We live in a beautiful country with free speech and freedom, so I have no choice but to understand where anybody would be coming from, I have to respect it and accept it. I have invited everybody in our company to adopt the same position and attitude.

All I can add right now is that the core 100% Team will continue to dedicate full effort to our beloved sport and riders. We will continue to honor the spirit & vision of Drew Lien, who back in 1982, founded 100% with one big dream of helping the entire world be in awe when they discover motocross for the first time.

I wish you all good laps at the track.

Sincerely yours.

Ludo

Aww looks like the guy who started this thread with the goal of “canceling” this guy…failed. While it was not a nice thing to tweet, this country is built on free speech.  Without that, we are all screwed. Let’s stop being cancel culture Karens, and maybe grow some thick skin.

It’s about morals. He never in a million years would have said what he said to Adams face. Only that, is what you should tweet and or post on the socials.

Thanks for chiming in Ludo. Respect!

Just as he shouldn’t have shit on Adam, people shouldn’t be shitting on Alessi. Both have every right to be emotional regardless of what race was won or what order they were in on the podium, or who wasn’t on the gate. Most will never put into their life what both but into a sport. A dangerous sport, a sport that steals a childhood, a sport that judges a kid as a man, a sport that takes more than it gives, a sport that forgets you faster than you rode, and a sport where only a fraction will podium a main or win a heat.

they're both right. i mean, Adam has had a tough road, and i think there's an instinctual deep sense of relief that washes over you when you feel like its YOU that's survived trauma that's taken out others. it's sort of this bittersweet thing.

at the same time, i sincerely and humbly thought Adam was gonna laugh it off on the podium as patronizing because he's so damn smart.

i know adam's talked about being into stoicism. stoicism means you never get too low but it sorta also means you don't let yourself get too high either. he deserves to be up there and he's earned his place, and all that. no judgement whatsoever, but i anticipated he'd be a bit more...stoic i guess.

John's not wrong. maybe poor taste, but he's not wrong. let's let people benchrace without cancelling them please......

now yall that can't grok nuance go ahead and  downvote me.

you used a few words or classes of words there that cancel culture tends to over use.

"responsible" "shitty".  let it go. counsel your brother, then let it go. getting emotional in return does nothing. vengeance does nothing.

also, trying to dictate how people "should" feel. being the moral arbiter. "moderate" my ass lol.

If you’re going to use a platform like Twitter and be someone in the industry, and use it to post a terrible take, don’t be surprised when people call you on it

This has nothing to do with cancel culture or the libs, I promise. Let it go

Wat a crap tweet . Then wat a crap apology.  I hate the way some people jeer the career s of riders like MA 800 . Yea he probably didn't live up to all the hype. But he had a better career than most. If I qualifyed for a main I d bloody cry . I think anyone who's even done that its a huge achievement.  Nevermind podiums/wins/championship s . I thought it was cool to see how much it ment to him
