Its crazy how many times I came home from a hospital with crutches setup the wrong way. During my last round of using crutches, I had custom steel ones built for me and powder coated black. I was going to be on them for a year or more so they took the time to make sure I had them setup correctly for the first time. And had a fabricator come and measure me in the hospital before building them. They are very heavy compared to all the others I've had. But are rated for full sized adult sasquatch , both height and weight. It feels strange to be on the lowest setting or close to it. I was surprised that it took so long, and I went through a few  a really good sports PT place and nobody ever said anything about it.

But yah, you want a little gap between your pits and the crutch tops. I don't remember exactly how much. But Your pits and shoulders will feel better when they are set up right. I wonder if this will be yet another thing that people can not agree on.

So you don't remember how much sag the fabricator set?

Just awful.

You mean Sexton? He’s been wearing some awful looking ones

I actually laid off him over the summer. He said in an interview something like

“Man people have been trashing me online so hard over the sunglasses but they don’t understand that this is what Oakley gives us. I dont control it.”

He was pretty down to earth about it so I felt kinda bad after that lol.

All the dumb posts you make only have half the subject in the tittle. No need for clickbait on an mx forum.

At this time "Bobbym" posting means hovering over but not clicking on my posts.

Keep it simple stupid

I think they said about  4 fingers. But the  PT guy set it not the fabricator.  It was funny to have a guy that looked like he came from  a speedy oil , in coveralls stained and burnt. Come into the hospital and measure me. I don't know why they even needed to send somebody. I just stood up and they measured from my armpits to the floor with a tape measure.Maybe my hands to the floor too.

The problem with the website now is, the name of the person that last posted in the thread pops up, not the person who started the thread.

That's the way it is on mobile.  You can still see who started the thread on the regular site.

Okay.  I did not know that.    Sucks when you're forced to wear something you don't like.

I wouldn't be caught dead in those sunglasses.

It pays to get em set up right. Especially if yer going to be riding the crutches more than 2 weeks.

Hey Bobby, methinks Cobbler should change his name to Gobbler...as in Goo!   Now there's some lowbrow, midtwit humor for the princess!

And Tomac's crutch set-up screams rookie gimp!  Any rider worthy of wadding up knows you don't ride the pits!

And you know what bugs the fuck outta me?  People who put an exclamation point after every sentence!

Nope.      I'd have to have a "I don't want to look like a freakin dork" clause in my contract.

The sad thing is...that horrendous style doesn't fit Chase or Eli's persona.  Neither of them are flashy.     Eli far less so.

But I guess suckers will buy them because someone famous wears them.

Calm down man they're cycling glasses, they aren't trying to look cool or flashy. I bet you thought Johnny 'O and Jeff Ward looked cool as shit in their Oakley blades in the 80's.

Someone earlier mentioned Chase commented about how he was forced to wear em...like he didn't have a choice.

There are plenty of actual cool options on Oakleys site.

Oakley Gascan.

Yeah...I'm older.   But I still care about not looking like a douche.

I currently wear Wiley-X "Tides".   Great glasses for riding my ADV on and off road, a day at the beach or general driving.

The chicks (read: wife) dig em.  lol
