Crutch technique.
#1 he needs to lose the pit pads on his crutches. They do nothing but chafe yer arm pits.
#2 he needs to adjust his handle positions, maybe one position up.
#3 proper adjustment of crutches that yer going to be using is crucial for user comfort and for safe crutch adjustment/position
Trust me I know proper crutch adjustment with over 40 years of daily continuous use.

I don't ride anymore, and there are a lot of days I miss riding. But when I saw Tomac's injury, it reminded me how quickly things can go South with an otherwise mild-looking incident. Hopefully he gets well soon and doesn't have any lasting issues.
has terrible...not is terrible.
Facepalm.
You gotta stop with this

HAHA! these youngsters don't understand humor........ ;-)
Removing pit pads goes from very slight chaffing to actual bruising lol
Not really because yer weight is supported with yer arm strength, not yer pits sans maybe at rest.
With?
You know.
All the dumb posts you make only have half the subject in the tittle. No need for clickbait on an mx forum.
Its crazy how many times I came home from a hospital with crutches setup the wrong way. During my last round of using crutches, I had custom steel ones built for me and powder coated black. I was going to be on them for a year or more so they took the time to make sure I had them setup correctly for the first time. And had a fabricator come and measure me in the hospital before building them. They are very heavy compared to all the others I've had. But are rated for full sized adult sasquatch , both height and weight. It feels strange to be on the lowest setting or close to it. I was surprised that it took so long, and I went through a few a really good sports PT place and nobody ever said anything about it.
But yah, you want a little gap between your pits and the crutch tops. I don't remember exactly how much. But Your pits and shoulders will feel better when they are set up right. I wonder if this will be yet another thing that people can not agree on.
Spermbeard Bob has been clickbaiting on these forums since before you were even a thought in your mommies brain....he's earned the right.
Respect your elders.
I seperated my ankle and broke my tib. No chance I was using crutches all that time. I bought a knee scooter and it was life saving.
The one thing I don't like about Tomac...is his choice in sunglasses.
Just awful.
Damnit Magoober....here I go completely agreeing with you again....
Happy it was his left, maybe he can still do some fun stuff in his car on the weekends and keep the racing spirit alive in himself. If he’s done he’s a legend, if he has more there’s nothing he can’t prove and plenty of us that love watching him. That smile and the little things there putting out says a lot, not totally sure what it means yet but we will find out.
I was going to say, "que the haters in 3...2..1...," but I see there's already one downvote. C'mon guys, this was a legit, heartfelt post. No need to bag on Jeff Alessi just because he's Jeff Alessi.
Good post, Jeff.
Every thread he starts..
go like this.
Pit Row
Yeah....been that way since about 1998. You should know better than to click them if it triggers you so much
I used to kind of enjoy making fun of Bobby M until he made the Cooper Webb thread asking why he was crying. It clicked that maybe Bobby has some actual neurological issues. To be that confused by an emotional response is more than just tough guy shit. There’s something else going on.
Or perhaps he’s just trolling. In which case, fantastic work ethic. Commitment to the bit is truly impressive.
Whatever the case, ML should get a leash on this guy. He’s crowding the board with stupid topics and bumping them with one word answers. Vital is a website that sells ads, presumably tied to traffic. Bad site content leads to less traffic and less ad buys. Letting dudes like this trash your product is bad business. It’s like running a golf course and never kicking out the guy that pours bleach on the greens.
You mean Sexton? He’s been wearing some awful looking ones
They're both paid to wear those dorky shades.
Both Sexton and Tomac.
Good grief.
you kiddos simmer down! BobbyM is slingin wisdom & humor with only 1 Achilles tendon....
"Bad site content leads to less traffic and less ad buys."
By that reasoning the non moto forum should be deleted entirely.
Crutches? So 1970s
I wish those were out the last time I was stuck on crutches! Maybe they were and I just had not heard about them or was not offered one since I had stairs to go up and down . But I remember seeing one around the time I was released from using crutches . There was another guy in the waiting room to see the Orthopedic surgeon that had one. Seems like a game changer compared to crutches.
Also provides a seat if you have to wait in line👍
OP...when you trigger someone too much, you might get private messages like this one.
LOL, what's the word between "ass" and "post"?
Post a reply to: Tomac this, Tomac that. Fact is Tomac has terrible
