So i under stand im gunna go bitched out for this but what excatly happend to Carlsbad? why did it close down?

So true! I was down there a few weeks ago. Large majority of those office bldgs. were empty and for lease. Not surprising that most are also in foreclosure. What a disgrace! That track and area could still be open today if not for $$ and greed.

Carlsbad as a city see's only $$$$'s , the whole place has been leveled and concreted in the last few years and covered in cookie cutter boxes, some people call them "homes" and industrial units.

x2 I was doing business last week at a place right across the street the old entrance to Carlsbad. Most of the new office buildings are empty. Such a bummer to drive by that place. I raced there from 1984 until closing.
