Crazy it’s been that long…
Isn’t he the legend that launched Larracos Leap on the Suzuki DRZ? RIP man!
Miss that TFS guy. The man could argue like a Philadelphia lawyer.
Fascinating gentleman was he…..

Steve was a dedicated pro. Here he's cleaning his camera not distracted by the things around him. 😇
Miss Steve a lot! We were remembering him yesterday at the race. Many stories with TFS. Makes me miss mototalk and Hutch and everybody else too. RIP Steve.
Mototalk days were the best. Bench racing at its finest.
Wow...
One of a kind.
Wow, 10 years goes by fast. Steve was a great guy. I made up a gallery of photos of him when he passed away.

Steve was a great guy...cool that you (whom started the thread) remembered him on his 10 yr anniversary. RIP TFS
Great memories talking with Steve at the races. His sticker is on the door of my moto 'fridge (near the Motodrive stickers), so I see him every day. He was such a dedicated fan, & changed the online MX reporting game.
RIP
Came here for this.
Steve motorhome was a bit like Grand Central Station in the pits. He loved a brawl, and was generous as a person.
TFS - 100% loved and respected
A 'Change Agent' for sure - led the sport into the world of digital photography. He spoke his mind...or just disagreed with you to mess with your head
.
Good memories, lots of good shooters back then: TFS, Toe, Kardy, Cudby, Paul Buckley, Garth Milan, Hoppen, FTE, and others...
10 years? Wow! Loved everything about TFS! This place has never been the same since he pulled off the track.
I was there when that photo was taken! I couldn't believe it when I saw Word Nerd taking down the banner around the turn before The Leap, we were going WTF is Word doing then all of sudden TFS comes ripping straight over the berm on his DR 350 full tilt and just sent it!! - and greased it - I still can't believe.
Pit Row
Great guy!
Hard to believe it's been over 10 years since he left us.
Steve was certainty one of a kind and always kept the boards interesting.
Sure do miss him and all of the stuff that went along with him.
From RacerX to MotoNews to Bruhns Coset to Supercross .com to Racetime , to working for NASA ... ect.
Never a dull moment with him around on the boards.
RIP, Old Friend!
"modem busters"
Had lots of great arguments with him on Mototalk. He was a smart guy and fun to argue with. I got the feeling he was laughing and having as much fun as I was.
I was still lurking during a lot of his years but remember him well. Hard to believe 10 years has passed.
Pretty sure he's still trying to explain to someone why the seat bounce works. Pretty awesome guy.
You know you've lived well when that many people remember you after 10 years.
TM
I can remember one of those arguments/posts in particular.
However, you had a lot of good posts on there that got people thinking and opened their minds.
You brought up "Faith" in a general sense one time...
Bruhn went on and on and on as he interpreted it as a religious post.
The 1st 10 names & address I get messaged, i'll mail 2 stickers. United States only
WOW! I'm getting old...
I feel the same, isn't there a photo of TFS carrying a giant hot dog?
Troy, Ohio national, end of the day, he pulls up in a white sedan and says see ya later.
I run up and slide across his trunk Dukes of Hazzard style and leave a dent.
He's like DUDE! I'm like who cares, it's a rental.
He says no its not, it's MY car!
I felt like an idiot, and still do to this day, but he brushed it off, didn't care and never said a word about it after that.
Big TFS fan here. Thanks Brooner.
I hung out with him ever time paths crossed. The one that hits me is Loretta in 2001 I think. First turn , 4 str class . It was as gonna be a battle so I was hanging with him Shuttleworth was down and he got pictures and was tore up. I looked at one on camera screen. Those pictures never got out , his upper arm was compound bad. I’m certain Steve woulda been in 1st turn again for his return. Wish he was here but glad he wasn’t there.
Thank you guys for all the kind words.
You know you guys were like family to him
It's hard to believe that 10 years has passed.
Thank you
I'll pass it on to mom
