Has anyone seen any updates on Coop? He looked dazed as hell on the track.

Amazed the medical crew let him up. Serious risk on a spinal injury on that crash. Seeing AC’s wheel just nail him made me sick, nothing AC could do about it.

We all got our favorite riders, but no one wants this. Hated to see this. If it's a concussion,I had one a few years back and man it sucked, felt like I was in the bottom of a pool for 3 weeks. We are all with you Cooper, hang tough and put it in the Lord's Hands Baby....(TV)

Man, I'm just crushed for Webb.  The images of him in the tunnel, crying and reaching out to hug that guy...heartbreaking.

He's a Champion no matter what happened today.

I continue to pray the injury isn't really bad.

That guy was his dad, I didn't know that was coop's dad until someone on the broadcast mentioned it.

That was a brutal hit to the noggin, I hope he is ok. I saw AC shake his head a few seconds after the hit, probably said Fuuuu*k

Hate this for Coop. He was keeping Tomac honest going into the stretch here and he has been on form this year. Prayers for a healthy recovery.

Coop is my guy gutted for him.. the way his head snapped was extremely scary. Gotta wonder what would have happened had he been wearing a neck brace. Almost certainly would have been worse.

On the Press Conference chat someone said he had a concussion and broken collarbone.  I haven't personally confirmed this.

It's an automatic response to someone who consistently has the worst takes on a daily basis.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but as I have watched and rewatched that crash I have a hard time understanding why Adam did not see Cooper there and shut off. I really want to believe there was nothing Adam could do (as Ricky and James said on broadcast) but I do feel like he could have just shut off (with heat race consequences) to avoid hitting a fallen rider.  I really like Adam and I know there was no malice towards Cooper. However, Adam powered through the corner and he had to see Cooper there; just doesn't make sense. His front end even pushed under power into Cooper and then his rear end accelerated over Coopers back.

If this were Friese or Barcia hitting Cooper there would be pitchforks out for either of them.

It's not unpopular. It's stupid.

Without knowing people's motives, it could be that some people don't like crashes or the reality of a rider crashing out of contention.

Look for the best.

Yes. There’s a big difference between unpopular and stupid. An unpopular opinion is hot wings don’t go well with beer. A stupid opinion is that of Kurt’s.

Actually, now that I think about it, both are pretty stupid opinions.

Exactly, easy for someone to say it could have been avoided from the couch. Adam is obviously upset about it, per his IG/Twitter:

I feel like they always hurt the worst and you have that moment of should I try to blow as much speed as I can or should I get the front wheel up

Honestly surprised they didn’t have the neck brace on seeing as how hard he was hit! Hope it’s not bad and he’s ok!!

I ain’t even gonna lie. If I was a flagger and saw that happen right in front of me I would have freaked out and started waving the red. I hope Cooper recovers and comes back from this.

I don’t think the flaggers get to decide if it’s a red flag. That comes from race direction. But I would’ve freaked out too. I was freaking out on my couch. Never want to see someone get hit like that, no matter how much you don’t like the guy as a racer. He’s still someone’s son, husband, and father. A hit like that can be life changing in the worst way. Luckily He was moving well so it SHOULD be ok in the long run. Still very scary to watch

If you're a Spode and your riding at Spode speed around a Supercross track, you very likely could have avoided running over Cooper Webbs head, but 99.9999991 of us are Spodes and can't comprehend the speed these Top Pros are racing around a Supercross track.   Adam Cianciarulo was battling at the beginning of a Supercross race against other very fast Non-Spode racers and had a FRACTION! of a second to try to avoid hitting Cooper Webb.   Had it been me in Adam Cianciarulo's place in that turn, I would have had about 15 seconds to avoid running into him, but I'm not a fast guy and I ride at Spode Speed compared to AC9

Want to make sure someone also noted that the part about Barcia and Friese is also dumb and wrong. No one wants to inflict a brain injury on a fellow rider, no matter how rough they race. Have you ever even been around a dirt bike my guy?

From RacerX:

Afterward we checked in with Roger DeCoster, who informed us Webb had sustained a big concussion, and that he was going to be undergoing scans on his neck to ensure there wasn’t any damage. This spells the end of Webb’s season, and his quest for a third 450SX championship.

Tough to watch that. The hits to his head plus the bike rolling over his back. Nothing Ciancio could do. Just bad place and bad time. I hope Cooper is good. It was a crash that’s usually easy to recover from, just a bad place.
