Evidently they have more dirt in Georgia than other places.

17 points is still a lot, and Chase will either have to be flawless or get some help to win this thing…

But let’s say these are the results the next two weeks:

1. Sexton 2. Webb 3. Tomac

the points would be:

1. Tomac: 334

2. Webb 332 (-2)

3. Sexton 327 (-7)

With two rounds to go. It’s really not all that unrealistic and with the way Barcia is riding I could easily see him getting in the mix again to make it even tighter.

Nobody is saying Chase is in a good spot down 17–he HAS to win. But this is a different year. A 17 point lead can vanish a lot quicker when there’s three guys who can beat you straight up any given week. And today there were four.

I don’t have a dog in the fight, just hoping for an exciting finish!

Kenny vs Barcia for 4th in points is also one to watch and those two could easily push themselves to steal some points away from the top 3, just like they did today. Give Barcia a start and he doesn't give a shit about no title fights

AP caught Tomac too, almost made the pass a couple of times

The smiles say it all, I may be hoping that Tomas wins the championship, but nice to see Chase, Justin and Ken on top for this round. Congrats boys, well done.

Agreed....the speedway tracks are awesome.  Throw in a few more.    I think Atlanta is the best race of the season.

Now that RC is a more coached and polished public speaker it sounds fake, staged, rehearsed and contrived. Irritating almost. Not the charming, realistic, aw shucks, goofy likable bumpkin, he once was. It's like he can't win at the broadcasts. It's just not his thing, like if any local weatherman studied motorcycle racing for week they could do a better job.

If anyone was wondering about Vialle, he's fine and will be lining up next weekend.

Kind of looked like Star didn't have a setup for this track that Eli liked on the 2023? He was off all day.

Maybe Tomac didn’t have a setup for Eli?

Good deal. At this point I just want him healthy for outdoors.

Can’t blame bike setup every time he has an off day. I don’t think he was really off. Just got a bad start and those top 3 were hauling. Couldn’t make the move around Webb, which is tough for any rider.

How do you explain how he is great at some tracks and then like the flip of a switch, he is off? His laps times in the main were 2 seconds off the leaders. His lap times in qualifying were way off the leaders, much more than usual for him.

I would say that is being off all day. And on a track he is usually good at. Hmmm...

He does this all the time. Far more often than any other rider in history that’s his caliber. He will struggle to beat guys normally battling for top ten positions like Craig and Wilson and then the next week be 2 seconds faster than everyone. It’s truly bizarre. Riders of his caliber never ever did that. Their off night was a second or third but definitely off the pace of the leader. His off nights he often battles guys he shouldn’t be anywhere near. It’s not bike setup. All time great riders all throughout history have had to find the right setup each week and only he has days like that when compared to his all time great peers.

I don't disagree. Last year he was not like this. Now, back to how he was on the Kawi but it seems even worse this year. He could have almost wrapped up the title yesterday with Webb getting another 4th but no...

Peacock screwed me with their spoiler video titles.  I was working yesterday and could not watch live.

I purposely was trying not to see anything as I went to Peacock to find the replay and the first thing that pops up is "Sexton & Lawrence top Atlanta.."

Race was pretty boring. Long straights and flat turns equals follow the leader. The only drama was seeing if Tomac could find anywhere to pass Webb.

I thought it was a very boring race as well. I had thought the racing would be good on that track but it wasn't.

Yea, you have to try and 'not' look at things when you go to search for the replay. Stupid.
