expect no press day, maybe one less practice but come main event time it doesn't look too bad. My guess is super soft and rutty bit not a full mudder with no jumping. should be good!
Soil having fully absorbed water molecules, motorized contest…..?
My nephew lives in West Seattle and said it realy hasn't rained at all. Allot of clouds but realy dry. Hoping for same tomorrow.
So far, it might be enough to keep the dust down.

Definitely wet last night and today rather windy and cold yesterday. So the rain blew into town really dark and overcast today and still some wind and showers around.
Make sure you’re up on your insurance for your vehicle your driving to the stadium . Substantial amount of arson going on . Bring some rubber gloves to pay at the parking lot pay kiosk. You may run into some urine and feces where you pay with your card . Have fun , good luck and be careful.
Yikes! Glad I'm watching on TV.
i only live 5 hrs from seattle and i've only gone once since the kingdome days when i went every year. who wants to sit in the rain....
I graduated from Renton High 1970 and lived there until 1984. Went to all the Kingdom racecs and Amateur Nights. No reason to drive from Oregon City for a wet and cold experience.......TV a warm fire and enjoy
EXACTLY!! i'll be doing the same.
Be sure and show the little ones what a hypodermic needle looks like and not to pick it up .
Your Welcome
I was born in Oregon City. Grew up in Bend and now reside in Tigard. I'm going to the race but wish it would be a nice day.
I live half an hour out of town and don't go every year. I vastly preferred the kingdome. Aside from no rain and better tracks, it was earlier in the season so the field was less depleted from injury. Used to race the amateur race in the morning, prowl pioneer square and downtown for a few hours, then watch practice and the races. Made for a great day.
I'm downtown in my office right now, it's overcast but the pavement is dry. If this sticks, it'll be cool tomorrow and rutty but not a mudder.
The worst part is that it “could have been.”
When the Mariners decided to build their own stadium they approached the Seahawks about a combined new stadium. The Seahawks said no, as they had just invested significant $$$ into the inside roof of the Kingdome due to pieces falling.
The Mariners then built Safeco (originally) with the sliding roof, next thing you know, the Seahawks demanded their own stadium. Ridiculous.
I wish they could use T-Mobile (formerly Safeco). Lumen field is nothing but a Kingdome minus the roof in my opinion.
It’s looking good for today and tonight .
I wouldn't say that looks ideal by any means. I'm going to be there tonight. 35 degrees, humid, 40% chance of rain. Lol. Should be interesting.
