I don't believe there was any doubt that the kid was the real deal.

during the weekend Alldredge kept it consistent, smooth and strong. Tonight he kept his head on his shoulder and rode consistently while AC, who could obviously be faster, made small mistakes. #8 wins.

I bet he beat him so badly it looked like a 14 year old racing a 12 year old. Well, 13 for a month now.

Chris has been fast for a long time, he has had problems staying off the ground in the past. He deserves the win, no excuses.

Age wasn't mention when AC was on top so why is it a factor now?

Both are very talented riders with very bright futures in front of them. No need in bringing personal emotions into the mix.

Pretty amazing for a kid that doesn't live anywhere near a decent motocross track.

His age is always relevant because he's a threat anywhere within a couple years of his age group. The new guy in the class is supposed to get beat and the last time that really happened to him was when he moved up to 50cc 7-8, but ran 65 7-9 instead.

Just to add a different perspective to the beat down, these kids have an entire year in the class already, facing faster competition and they're trading wins with the new guy.

About to be 13 and about to be 15 is a pretty big difference physically, giving up a year to guys that have been racing faster competition isn't hurting him and eventually he wont have the problem of being at physical disadvantage either.

If he's still fast on the big bikes I think he turns out closer to RC than Alessi, never know though.

So let me get this straight. Night one he's reppin for kawi and by night two, he's on a Yamaha? Either that kid is a slut or Racer X had one too many drinks. Either way, way to go Chris Alldredge!

I think I have got the answer... They are not even the same kids (aka names spelled differently each night). I knew there was no fair way AC got beat! Smile

If Madras track is still there he's less than an hour and it is sweet! No elevation but otherwise it has great dirt and layout. I'm sure that kid is hardly ever home, unless he has a private track out there, there's enough room!

He's at Albany A LOT. They pretty much live on the road I believe...

Alldredges are great folks. I had a few nightmares when I ran the Cobra team but Chris and his family were a pleasure to work with. Chris has always had the speed. He has lacked consistency in the past, but has been on a tear this year. Kids mature at different times and from watching, Chris has had a huge growth spurt in this area in the past year. I can't wait to see what the coming years bring for them.

My dad lives in Bend and I've been to the Madras track. I thought it looked lame but it's better than nothing, which is what Central Oregon otherwise has in the way of mx tracks.

What is the most remarkable point about Chris' win is the fact that he did it with probably less than half the support that AC gets. I mean AC is basically riding a factory Kawi and has all the resources that the kid will ever need to do well including some very high end PC suspension plus AC had the luxury of getting ready on the official Kawi SX test track riding with RV I doubt Chris Alldredge had a factory level track to prepare on. Thta makes it an amazing accomplishment ......Congratulations Chris!!!!!!

Here we go again talking about money winning races, I'm sure they both have great equipment. Time and time again it has been proven that success on a mini bike doesn't necessarily mean championships at the pro level (how many examples would you like?) The next "RC" or "MC"? Yep just like Huffman, Alessi, Stroupe, Warton, Izzi, Grant.............. They are both great riders but I hope they are living in the moment because it could all end tomorrow, I hope they are both getting a good education, going to football games, a Junior High dance and doing things NOT motocross related with their families because more times than not a normal life will be their future.
