Our household purchased the 2022 MXoN from MXGP TV last year. This was our very first exposure to the World motocross GP's in years. So I did the math and it's like $3.00 a race to watch so we pulled the trigger on the MXGP 2023 early bird season pass. Not sure when I will have time to mow the lawn now.
Any guesses on how long it will take Herlings to get back to speed?
I’ve paid for it since 2015, for the amount of coverage you get, I think it’s well worth the money.
I'm on the fence , but figured I might take advantage of the early bird deal....then I missed that.
On top of having no library for previous years ( including the ones I paid for since about 2016 ) unless I pay again ....may just skip this year again. I love watching them , but it's a little more than what I'm willing to spend. I'm still miffed that after about 10+ years of having a library of about 10 years of MX included with our subscription , they now want to charge you even more to watch them.
🙋🏻♂️
Yep been paying for it for year now, since it was mxlife.tv - can't beat the coverage and is well worth the money for what you get. I have zero issue with the archive not being available as i've never gone back to watch any old races anyway

Was motoworldtv.com last year.
But going back to mxgptv so I can watch emx n qualifying
There's more content than most have time for, the EMX races are the icing on the cake. I think it's good value for money, and you get the best commentary guy in the business.
Yes.
Just to let anyone know. I’m a big mxgp fan, no shot I’m giving them money I fell for that scam with MXoN when I was a kid. These days CBS sports shows full 2nd motos the day after(with moto 1 highlights). There’s usually live streams on places like twitch, and random googled websites that steam Eurosport 1 & 2. And half the time some angel puts the mxgp stream right on YouTube seconds after the motos end. I don’t watch EMX so I can’t help you there, but MX2 and MXGP are free if you try a little.
I prefer to go straight to the source personally plus at times the EMX classes are more entertaining to watch.
This is a great way to support the sport you are a fan of. Waiting for a replay is one thing, but it's not an "angel" posting on YouTube, it's a thief and supporting it is 100% the same.
I really like the MXGP TV package. Tons of content to watch, and the broadcast itself is well done. My only complaint is I wish they would make themselves an App for a smart TV. Streaming from the computer is OK, but it would be so much easier with an app on a Roku or something.
Been getting ever since Villo went over and it’s the best coverage and package out there period!! Watch one weekend and then watch our sx coverage and you will be glad you spent the money!!
I own 2 bikes that cost over 10k, over 1k in gear at least, I don’t even wanna think about how much parts I’ve bought, race almost every weekend, and pay to go to my local nationals to watch. I think I support the sport plenty. I think the Italian mobsters who run mxgp will be ok without my money.
But you keep on “supporting” them, either way we’ll both see the same race.
I want to but not having an easy way to stream to my TV is a deal breaker for me.
This ^^^^^. I mean, come on, it's 2023. Surely they can figure this out.
If you are cool with supporting thieves and overall being a thief, good on ya sir.
Any device you have likely has a casting option. Not optimal for sure, but works.
We were more than happy with MXGP TV coverage of the 2022 MXoN.
Regarding losing access to the previous years races - Question: Does anybody know if there is a motocross torrent site?
If there is not a MX torrent site, Maybe everybody should upload every Race they have to pirate bay. Easy way to share
Pit Row
The coverage is usually good but it's far from perfect like is often portrayed on Vital.
It often freezes and buffers on their side and sometimes kicks you out of the livestream during the last race, and for whatever reason once the last race has started if you leave the livestream you can't rejoin it.
Worst was one of the 2020 Faenza rounds where you only saw about 5 minutes of the race because it kept freezing, and when people complained they didn't even acknowledge it, they deleted all the comments about it on their Instagram and then disabled the comments.
I paid for it this year but the people who actually earn money from people paying for it are shafting the people who keep the series alive because they're greedy bastards. So I think it's morally fine to pirate it.
Issue must be on your end, works flawless for me.
I've bought the season pass, and the AMA Motocross pass for years.
Pirating media isn't theift, man. If I steal your car then you no longer have a car. If I can't afford to pay for a car, and decide to make a copy of your car while leaving it perfectly in tact, then you haven't had anything stolen from you. It's fine to have a stance on piracy, but piracy isn't the same thing as theift.
I've seen people complain about the exact same issues I've had at the same times I had them in their Instagram comments. The Faenza round I used as an example was extraordinarily bad and they probably had over 100 comments on their page during the race so that one at least clearly wasn't on my end.
Pirating is theft you are watching something that costs to produce. Then someone else basically steals it and charges for it.
Me too. Like any streaming service the same quality is provided to everyone.
It used to buffer occasionally for me but since I upgraded my internet connection to 1GB full fibre it doesn't miss a beat.
X2
It used to be pretty bad here (Australia) but the last 3-4 years hasn't had any issues that I can remember.. And my internet is fairly frikken slow
No one is charging for the pirate copies (hopefully).
I appreciate that it costs money to produce these shows, and the producers go to great lengths to stop their products being pirated, but if they end up being pirated, what have they lost? What has been taken away from them? I'm not trying to convince you that pirating media is fine, even though I think it is in a lot og circumstances, I'm just saying that it's as close to a victimless crime as your gonna get. Unlike theift, where there is a clear victim, namely the person who had their stuff taken away from them.
If you say you are an MX fan, but wont pay for this, then you are not really a fan.
Piracy is a crime sir. Sure, it's not as severe as stealing a car, but stealing copyright and PPV content nonetheless.
Counterfeit and piracy are specific forms of theft. The property owner says you can have access to my property if you pay me money. You say no, but use the property illegally. You can be prosecuted for theft.
