One thing I took from last night was.....Cooper is in it , till the end. If he was that strong at Daytona, it is going to be a dog fight till the end. The difference from last season to this one is basically night and day. Dude is a little animal!

Unless Chase miraculously corrects his issues this is a two horse race from here on out. I kind of want ET to win it and get title #3 along with moving into second in wins but if Webb wins he will have earned the heck out of it!

"Webb just doesn't have the raw speed".........       Hilarious

Always rooting for Tomac, but if it's not him, I'm on the Webb wagon.   All he skills, all the determination. all the mental toughness.  And always respectful afterwards.

Was talking about this last night...at least 10-15 more wins..maybe more. His kawi start days were awful

This is the first time we've had both Tomac and Webb at the top of their game in the same season. If Webb keeps it within ~10 points for the rest of the season, the final round could be absolutely awesome.

He’s not the first to struggle with starts on the Kawi. I remember Reed saying it was a difficult bike to get starts on consistently.

Paul will never ever win a outdoor MX championship

Probably not and the factories probably couldn't give 2 shits about an outdoor title. He knows where money is...

It's fair to call Webb out on that . It was a shot at Roczen . Does Webb have Roczen derangement syndrome ? In any case he said that then took the summer off to race local yokels .  Weak . That said he's riding great right now and a legit threat to Eli .

agreed. Sexton took himself out of this series. Not points-wise...but psych wise. He KNOWS he can't keep it together for 20+1 and so do the others. Sucks as he's got a lot of wins ahead of him...but for '23...it's a 2 dog fight. He'll re-huddle and bring heat for outdoors and if history serves, CW2 will drift allowing CS23 to fight ET3. JMO.

history is a cruel teacher. We will never know the answer, but I agree...from '17-'19 the guy was an anomaly where he would fight for the lead or fight for 12th...you never knew who would show up. He left a LOT of wins on the table and yes, he could have legit been looking at the elusive "72" number had he not jacked around for those years.

what a race.

blew my mind early in the main where Eli is jumping whoops and Coop is still blitzing, would have never had that on the bingo card.

Me too! Coop was taking the turn before the whoops high and bringing speed into the very inside line of the whoops. He was forced to change when Eli got closer, because Eli was blocking the entrance to the whoops by taking the inside and hopping through.

Interestingly,  I think it was Lewis who posted stats on win percentages since being in the 450 class for Webb.    CW is @ 21%....but  28% since we switched to KTM.    Would be interesting to see what Eli's win percentage is since going 450.

Think what could have been if Eli had gone to Factory Honda after Geico instead of Kawi. Too bad that didn't happen.

Don't disagree but Webb almost won Daytona last year and it didn't help him the rest of the SX series all too much in 2022.

Webb is VERY good at Daytona.
