Yeah, during the interview before qualifying he said he has no ego or expectations about today and doesn't care if 15 guys get by him. Laughing

With all the suzuki bashing it seems to still go pretty good.

Jeez, Sexton being fastest seems to have become a given. I just look at everyone below him to see what’s going on.

Props to Chase

Sounds like some suspension work is all it takes to be in the mix (and maybe some right leg work).Pinch

I still think Jcoop is gonna put in a sneaky good ride tonight. He's right with the other guys and always comes on late in the race.

Again, fair enough but I'll chock that up to 1st race of the season nerves.  He's losing focus for whatever reason.  I was at Arlington and the ass end of his bike is not right.  It only seems to step out/get light when he's nose down and leaned.  I saw it lap after lap.  I think he starts to trust the bike and that anomaly is biting him.

Tomac being rougly 1 sec off of Sexton isn't anything to worry about when considering his potential performance tonight. He's almost always ~0.5 off of Sexton on normal 45-50 second tracks... being a second off on a long track that will surely change throughout the night isn't a big deal.

With that being said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Sexton won tonight.

I meant last race of outdoors with the title on the line.

Sitting here in the stands, Eli was struggling to get a clean lap. The second half of the track is killing him. Webb and Anderson look ready to go. Chase is fast but who know what he’s gonna do, and Roczen looks solid.

i was there for the qualifying too . I seen that he looked so so . The track will be tore up by the main. Chase can just stay up best chance. First time i got to watch qualifying get some autographs for my grandson and go home to watch the mains.

Wouldn't the just give the red plate to whomever finished higher in the most recent race?

Guys, winning qualifying hasn’t helped Sexton or Roczen all year. A half a second in lap time in qualifying matters not at all. Who’s up front after 20, racing for the win, race after race?  Tomac, Anderson, and Webb have the staying power. This is Daytona, look for the guys with serious endurance and that don’t often make mistakes late in the race.

Didn't Chase and Eli both have the red plate at one point last summer?

Would be cool to see him on the box but I'm thinking he's more interested in staying healthy for 250 outdoors. Hope tomac is 100% tonight.

No. There's been double red plates in the past, but never 3 riders. It would be cool to see.

They were within one point at Southwick, Budds, and Ironman.
