Did you add the wrong link?

Coldenhoff won this weekend, Herlings finished 4th.

Man it's weird how Herlings and Webb look a lot alike in some photos.   Even the hat over the ears thing.

Brian Shul is my pick for FMOTP...     top speed: Classified.

If you ever get the chance...this book is a must read.

Actually,  the fastest man "on" the planet would be, Andy Greene.

763mph.

I went 135 on a 1973 BMW. Does that count for anything?

It does if you ran bias ply tires. I ran 138 mph in a Mack truck pulling 49k in a tanker . When a pm is done they check everything like trk movement with pto on, brakes set& speed. That was Georgia ovr drive- clutch pushed in down a mountain. Jeff is probably the fastest sand rider.

Herlings hadn't raced in a year so 4th is pretty good.

Google Drive link for the PDF, for any others who wanted to give it a read. I’ve read the speed check story before, but never knew it came from this book. Pretty cool.

edit: didn’t see Tim507 posted it already.

Wouldn't that be FFMOTP? Former Fastest Man on the Planet. I don't think James could beat Herlings right now.

I'm a Herlings Fan, but change my mind.. He hasn't been the fastest man on the planet since 2018.

138 mph that’s off the ecm. We had a competition for the highest speed. We had a driver get 141 mph I couldn’t believe I got beat. I thought I had it. A lot of trucks can go 124 on the flat.  You do know they used to race big rigs. I know of 2 crazy brothers in Tn. 1 of the brothers got a ticket for 168 mph pulling a loaded tanker.

Just a warm-up, he will turn it on, when it really counts.

When you think someone is being serious, but then you realize they are joking, a troll, or just not that bright. What of those 3 options do you identify with buddy?

*Which of those options

I'll take the secret 4th one, not influenced by nostalgia and pro American bias

FMOTP? Don't see his name listed here? 🤔

Screenshot 20230227-151223 Chrome

How can someone be the FMOTP if you don't race the pinnacle race series of your sport out of fear? Then go finish 4th at a local British race? Can anyone explain this?

Nothing to do with pro American bias, but ironically anyone who wants to compete against the best in the world comes here to do it. It's just too bad Jeffy is afraid of Supercross. Because it would be pretty fun to watch him flounder around a Supercross track all season battling to make a main from the LCQ. To be fair it would be interesting to see how he would do a full season of outdoors.
