He’s still around helping out at the races…like he’s done for decades. He drove Justin Starling’s van out to California from Florida. That’s pretty damn cool.

Fla to Cali is a pretty good drive.  Especially after having yer leg chopped off and a new knee spliced in there.  WTG Dave.

Great to see Dave out and about I am sure he has been really missing going to the races plus It has only been 2 or 3 months since Dave got his #3 replacement due to an infection so Dave is one tough dude to do that long of a drive.

Also it’s speed week so he probably welcomed a way to get the hell out of Daytona! Silly

I talk and text Dave here and there.

He's enjoying his retired life and happy with what we've done with Engine Ice as we continue to work and grow the business he started. 

Driving Starling's van from Tampa to Oakland all week must have been quite an experience.

I miss Dave. Dave has his moments but don't we all? He's done a lot for a lot of riders that most don't even know about. Glad to see him at the races and it's still in his blood.
