User error.
Exactly what I was thinking 🤣
About halfway through the broadcast it starts freezing every 30 seconds or so.
Every other show or movie I watch on peacock or any other app runs fine. SX has been a freeze fest for me most races.

Re-start the app and it's fine again
Mine doesn’t freeze up at all. The problem I have is with the horrible picture quality. I’m on a new 85in Samsung 4k blah blah tv. But the quality of the stream seems to suck ass. Not sure if it’s fixable on my end? I can’t be the only one experiencing this…
Ya, 2 weeks in a row peacock shits the bed when the mains start. I can watch illegal streams that come through better that whatever their west coast servers are doing
Happens to me as well. Always starts about one hour into the broadcast.
Mine buffered quite a bit tonight. All the commercials played perfectly and in high def though.
I can accept if the quality suffers due to a weak signal where I live, but not when commercials are playing perfectly, and other apps and content play just fine. Especially since I've payed for the higher package.
Agree, peacock sucks
We had the same problem tonight. It was terrible. I finally gave up and will try to watch tomorrow.
Peacock has been stable for me, unlike some of the previous streaming services.
What device are you watching it on? Smart TV? Roku? PC? Each platform can have its own issues, since it's a different application.
Peacock doesn’t livestream in 4K so your 85” TV is only displaying a 1080p stream (likely a lower bitrate as well) Doesn’t matter what your TV is capable of, the bigger it is the worse the picture will actually look if the source is only 1080p.
No issues, perfect for us.. Cox Gigablast internet. Could be your internet slowing in the areas you live.
“Event concluded” at beginning of 450 main on mine.
I'm on a 6 year old Roku box and NEVER have a problem streaming Peacock...other than what the director does to miss the racing or when they forget to come back live at the beginning of the LCQ.
I suspect those of you that are having issues don't have enough bandwidth, have a crappy wifi signal, or you live in an area with other signals interfering with your stream. Or your streaming device doesn't have enough memory for live action sports.
This is 100% user error.
Yeah, I know how tv’s work. I only mentioned that because it’s the latest and greatest.
I have never heard that the bigger tv will look worse because of the size, though.. Wtf. I guess I’ll have to try it on one of the smaller ones. So lame
I'm getting automaticly logged out time and time again on Peecock

I love how you contradict yourself in a matter of two sentences with this!
Here’s an easy example to help explain how it works. Have you ever tried to enlarge a picture on your computer? If the original source picture you have is, for example, 100 x 100 pixels and you click and drag or enlarge it to be 500 x 500 pixels, you are not going to end up with a larger image that is more clear and sharper but rather you end up with a larger image that is pixelated/blurry. If you look at the smaller version, it seems sharp and detailed comparative to its size but when you look at the same image stretched to 4x it’s size it looks like shit. If you compare a “2K” photo vs a 4K photo on your phone, you would have a tougher time deciphering the difference because of the screen size and pixel density. There is a reason why you don’t see 1080p 85” TV’s for sale.
Now apply that to your TV. Your tv is a 4K display at 85”. It’s taking a “2K” source image and stretching it to your large 4K TV. Netflix, Peacock and the like can stream 4K for on demand videos but most live stream platforms do not deliver 4K streams due to the mass amount of data that would need to be transferred.
If you look at this chart you can see how certain streams will need to “stretch” to fit your display resolution and how it will not actually be a 4K image.
Wrong, 100% peacock fault. Guess again
I haven’t had one issue.
For tech people how could a few have issues and not all of us? Seems it would be all or none like outdoors was. I’ve had to freeze or distorted quality once this year:
Dunno man. but it could be your ISP or your personal router? Peacock was awesome on 4k Roku, and Chromecast stream from iPhone for practice and the race today.
I was having bookoo issues a month ago; mainly VPN issues with my work from home connections, as well as Peakcock, etc. I thought no way it was my mesh router network, which was only a few years old. Replaced it with a new 6E mesh router config, and boom.... zero issues with anything since then.
Event concluded right before 450 main for me too.
Every week more people blaming networks for their own crap service or lack of understanding/ability/equipment. Cancel your subscription and move along.
I watched the mains in an airport parking lot on my iPad tethered to my phone for internet. No problems.
T-Mobile 5G internet and it has been flawless.
Sounds like people need to get out of the dark ages, and upgrade there internet equipment. Yeah routers don’t last 10 years……
Incorrect, guess again, or move along.
Exactly.....not to mention the modem itself and how the router is set up. You can't just have standard low end equipment after signing up for the cheapest package that came with a free phone or something useless.....and expect to stream live coverage in HD.
