Mine is all but finished - I want the electronic water pump!

2022 CRF 250R

- FC Shock and Forks Mods (Revalve & DCL)

- Engine by XPR (Port, CAM, Piston, Springs, etc)

- Vortex ECU with XPR mapping (Pro 6 Fuel)

- Hinson Cluth

- TI Exhaust by Yosh

- MotoStuff o/s rotor and

- DID Rims and Talon Hubs

- TI & Carbon goodies

By far the baddest bike I've ridden.  It barks!  Special thanks to Tony B for doing the work!

That’s a killer set up. Why didn’t you go for the FC pull rod? Stock springs?

FC kept the stock rear spring.  I just emailed FC to see if they have the pull rods in stock.

Nice. I have been meaning to get it but last time I spoke to them they recommended a shock adjustment with it, and were still dialing it in a bit.

Good looking bike!

I had the pleasure of riding one in the past month and really liked the motor (especially compared to the 2021 I have now) Two clicks softer on the forks and it was amazing stock.

Anyone know if there are leftover 2022s to be found? or 2023s available yet?

Judder spring. Flat goes on 1st then the bellview with the outer taper towards engine/inner towards clutch plate. Most guys replace the 1st fiber and the 2 judder springs with a full size fiber clutch plate.

Thanks, exactly what I was curious about. I’ll be sure to take a picture of the stock one before I take it out too so I don’t mess it up ha. This has to be one of the more detailed clutch installs. Yamaha was just fibers and plates, all the same. No special order.

Ridersville cycles in West Virginia. $8100 OTD plus tax. No tax if you pay cash and live out of state.

Geez, I paid 9600 last October for one, including 8 percent sales tax. I guess prices aren’t really coming down.

I’ve had the works connection braces from the get go. Rads are still straight with the bike spending plenty of time on its side.

Helps keep the rear settled, which helps keep the front end more stable. Also looks insane. If you’re in the Northeast, Jake at FC is so nice and really developed this setting for my preferences / speed / height / and weight. Tell him you want the Max Bertolero setting!

Max is your shock valving stock with just the pull rods? I'm not convinced the shock needs a revalve for me

I owned a 21 yzf250. 6’ 175lb. Decent speed. I did raptor pegs (-7mm down) and taller seat. The yzf was great and I got it feeling really good. It’s stable. Like stated above that bike is as stable as they come. It’s not as nimble as a Honda-it doesn’t feel like a 125 like the Honda does . I own a 22crf 250 now and the bike feels like a mtn bike…..and you can wok with it and get it stable. The transmission is as smooth as silk and the controls are right there. The bike feels a little more flickable but since it steers in the front end you can really corner the shit out of it w confidence. The Yamaha is a more neutral chassis so you have to kinda just learn the front- trust that she is doing her thing even though you don’t feel it as much.
We sold my sons 85 ….he turned 13 yesterday. I would have never let him ride my yzf at the track- he should not be on anything but a 125 for a couple years but we are waiting till spring to purchase. That said he rode the crf250 beautifully all day yesterday at the track. Just smooth and beautiful in the corners. Food for thought. Kid weighs 118lbs. Nice chassis.

I’m 6’3 and considering buying a yz or crf 250 this year. What bike do you think suits a taller rider better? I’d probably put lower pegs and taller seat on either.

The yzf feels a little cramped. The Honda is just right. Unless you wait for 24 when the Yamaha closes the gap like the 450 did.

I just got my 23 and raced it last weekend at the sprint enduro and I was shocked at how much harder it pulls than my 2020 did. I really like it.

When coming out of corners hard on the gas I feel the rear of the bike dances a lot. Doesn't feel planted enough. I've tried messing with the adjusters, but no luck. I wonder if this would help.

Yeah they modify the valving and the shock length. I had one rate stiffer spring too. I’m 160, but I’m also 6 feet tall, so I can get a lot of weight on the rear. I went stiffer and revalve on the front. I also have their piston kits. Rest of the bike is stock besides the twin air powerflow kit!
