Phoenix suprcross 2003 is a good video to watch when you're looking to remember how good Ezra was at his best. Even if he doesn't come back with this kind of speed I can't wait to see him race again.

Gotta love those 'Diet' 250cc bikes featuring new improved low-maintenance engines featuring "no-fart" sound technology.....
And those bikes feature only one throttle cable because they don't suck so hard.
My Two-¢ - The 450 was "a hole-shot device" but now that everyone has one they are just a required expense. Ask any team or privateer.
Go Ezra! Great, articulate and positive answers on the Podcast. Hope there is money available for you to do it right. Maybe a 250 two-stroke for the 250 class is in your future...
I know everyone is beating the drum about 250 2t in the same class as the 250 4t but really isn't it evident that the 250 2t can compete and beat down the 450? Honda and Yamaha had them back then and had some really good riders on them but yet the less powerful 250 2t that the majority of the field was on were dominating the front of the pack. Outdoors thats a MUCH different story where the 450's power can be harnessed......but come on the 250 2t can coompete in the premeir class as proven by that race. I really like the finess and style the riders have on the smoker they seem to be able to throw them around a lot easier...
Pit Row
'03 was a great year for racing. I hope Yogi does good at the US Open and we see him in '10.
Man, Ezra was on fire that night, for sure. Him and the bike seemed to function as one, and he was just 100% spot on.
That was a brilliant/genius pass as far as I'm concerned. Reed looked over to his left, then the next thing ya know, Ezra pulls a magician trick and appears on Reed's right side - beautiful!!!
That really goes to show how far we have gone in regards to what is considered acceptable on the track.
