Kroc has two outdoor AMA 450 National number one championship plates.  I think he knows a thing or two about motocross fitness.

Kenny having fun and feeling the flow is superior to Aldon over trained Kenny.. Just my opinion.

I like Kenny but he’s been done for years.  Good for him that he signed another big deal, but anyone who thinks he’s a threat to the top three is delusional.

The guy just went top 5 on a (recently) unfamiliar bike... Yeah he has history with it etc, but still.

The field looks as strong as ever.

It was the first race of the year.

We all know Kenny's had his problems, he's still hauling and seems to be having fun, that's all good.

Any one of those reasons on its own should be enough reason to give the guy a break and see how it pans out, let alone all of them put together.

Ricky wasn't the most talented...he worked the hardest. IMO opinion Kenny, Mookie, Anderson all have more talent than Eli and Webb....Eli and Webb just work harder. Kenny inarguably the most talented of the bunch...well maybe besides Moosecan.
