Soo… Forkner, he’s a very talented rider that tends to ride over his head and has led to many injuries. I’m curious if the time away from racing has stunted his racecraft development. I think it’s safe to say, that we’ve seen riders like Jett, Sexton,Shimoda etc. minimize the injuries and develop good racecraft at relatively young ages. Anyway Forkner will be fast but will he be patient enough to let the race come to him? A1 is almost here and I can’t wait to find out.

Next thing you know Jett is bouncing off tuff blocks and taking him out, season over. I think A1 will see AF cutting it loose. 

I like that he picked Jett's coast, don't think for a minute that Honda announcing Jett early wasn't a tactical move. They will probably qualify P1 and P2, so they won't line up together until the main, but I fully expect Forkner to be a little on the edge and wanting to dominate Jett. Can he if both are at their best? I think Jett should beat him but the reality is we have no idea, I can't wait to see it and I hope they go at it hammer and tong all season.

You as an Australian have already surrendered whatever freedom you once had to the state! I hope you enjoy the restricted movement and highly burdensome covid restrictions and generally terrible government policies and procedures enforced by your government. I'm sure that soon enough americans will be disarmed, taxed, immunized, and regulated like cattle similar to how your government treats you. But in the meantime, I am proud of free thinking and strong willed Americans like Austin Forkner who are willing to stand up and speak for the freedoms that my family cherishes !

I do agree with the danger of racing at any level and pros speed add significantly to that risk.  I also believe they are the best overall athletes in the world regardless of sport.  Nothing comes close in my opinion.  The part I don't agree with is "they are out there doing it for the fans and to entertain us".  I don't think that is a significant or really any part of their motivation to race.
