I put a few photos from yesterday in my photo gallery www.pbase.com/thomasef of some of the pros that came practicing at my buddies track yesterday.Not as many people showed up to ride as in the past though. Yup,he is signed up for Southwick. Dowdy was going pretty fast yesterday,He is a amazing guy going that fast at 44 years old.Justin wasn't really pulling away from him,Dowd was on his 450 so he pulled Justin up the hills but Justin caught up on the downhills.He has a good chance to podium.

Dowd is the man, he should top 10 i would think. Barring any crashes or wierd things happening. And if he was to podium at age 44, the guys behind him should just quit. Woohoo

I agree, Dowd is insanely fast and dialed at 338. The field is ripe for him to pick a podium spot if all goes well. I would love to see it.
I was actually caught of guard at Dilla when he was on a Kx 250. Guess I just got real used to him riding yellow.

Yup,He rode it out,I never knew how close he was to jumping out of the berm until i looked at the photo on my computer.I was hit by a big wave of dirt on my legs from it though. lol

Wow, nice pics! The last one where the sand is leaving his bike is very descreptive for the brutality represented in our sport and also the reason why I feel so passinate about this.

Thanks Smile That was a tricky jump,Deep ruts up the face of it,Justin just hitting it hard all day,His footpegs and the toes of his feet were dragging sand along with him.

What do you shooters use to protect your gear in downpours? And where do ya get those snazzy "vests" with all the big pockets for lenses and such?

A Umbrella and plastic bags. lol I'm trying to find a way to put a umbrella holder on my vest right now Smile Mxsports provides the vests at the nationals but you can get something close to those from a photo supply shop or website.
